Texas Lottery May Eliminate Lotto Bonus Number
Now they're on the right track. We need more pick-6 games, not less!Quite frankly, they should've went back to a pick-6 format when they joined Mega Millions. It's the obvious choice with bigger jackpots, better overall odds, and the Megaplier. The lower jackpot odds are the only incentive to play Lotto Texas now, seeing it's the same format. Going back to a 6-number game will help it stand out as a different game. Washington was very smart to ditch Lotto Plus when it joined Mega instead of wait

Advice needed re: 6/49 lotto software
Buying Quick-Picks doesn't always work if it did then everyone in the United States would be winning the Lottery,quick-picks do work but so does other methods that players use too win.I personally know of players that have won pick-3,4,5,6 jackpots using various programs/systems but just because it worked for them doesn't mean it will work for others.I have a program callled P34Lotto I've hit the Cash 3 with straight at least 3 times using it off and on but friends of mine that have the exac

New Lottery idea
acronym,A few years ago when the Ohio lottery was at its peak with jackpots of up to $50M, Ohio came up with a rule that a single ticket could only win $20M and the rest went back into the pot it there were no other winners. The players voted with their pocket books and stopped playing. At the time about half of the winners were from surrounding states. Ohio never recovered from that bad decision. Out of state players never came back and Ohioans were going to Michigan, Indiana and Pennsylvan

New Lottery idea
What were missing is where is the 10,000,000 coming from? It's nice to just add 10,000,000. It's not that easy. The reason Jackpots grow and grow and grow, upwards of 30 to 70 million, is not because someone decides to add more money to the pot. That money has to come from somewhere. It comes from future sales is all I was saying. If I'm wrong, Will someone out there correct me. It won't be the first time.By the way tonight in florida was 700. Just the reverse in you LP name...007 at the end.....

Connecticut likely to stick with Powerball
Petitions should be formed to stop this false advertising of jackpots. Lets wake up and do it how they do it in Canada or Europe. For the lotteries to pay back such miserable percentages and then have us pay nasty taxes on top of it is totally disgusting. Every game should be a lump sum game, and if that kills the state lotteries so be it. No one is playing state lotto anyway. Everyone is playing either multi state or scratch offs. Have a group of about 5-6 musl lottos and do away with state

Why gamble at Online Lottery Sites?
Chewie,The one thing you should consider about the Euromillions and UK Lotto is that they are all-cash jackpots - no tax - and they have excellent lower-tier prizes. In particular, take a look at Euromillions when the jackpot gets big, because it's a tremendous deal. Also, many people like UK Lotto because of great combination of excellent all-cash prizes, plus the odds of a 6/49 game.Because of the all-cash prizes, plus no tax, you can think of a $50 Millions Euro Millions jackpot as being as Pow

Is less best? $93 million vs $10 million
For me it is a question of personal choice because I play for the powerball jackpots when they are climbing like the 93 million one just recently. But I noticed that my state lottery is high again at 15.5 million and since the odds are 1 in 7 million I like to play it when it is high. I don't try to spend too much on the lottery since it is my form of entertainment ten bucks a week keeps the dream alive at some sizeable jackpot. I would be happy with either pot to answer your question on whic

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
This is how they will be able to start it at $15m and watch how much the jackpots increase.Or, if you prefer, this is how they'll be able to start at $7 million dollars used from ticket sales to pay off the winners who don't care about having their money invested at a low interest rate by people they don't know, and have no reason to trust to act in their best interests. The amount of money they're willing to pay out immediately to winners, after they've increased the odds against the players, wi

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
I have to agree with you Todd. Before the whole Cash-Option choice came about all prizes paid were annuitized over so many years. So the jackpot was worth the cash value plus all the interest. This is what lotteries have been doing for the life of them. There is nothing wrong with this. Acutally I don't see why lotteries invest the money for annuities in such low interest bearing bonds. They us a ~1.6% right now when you can get government securites that average over 4%. Now that would in

New Mexico Lottery still looking for $93 million Powerball winner
I understand your recent series of complaints about this, but that's been a fact about how jackpots are measured for many years now.Your argument is like saying that when someone who makes $100,000 in their job goes to apply for a mortgage, they should not be allowed to tell the bank that they make $100,000, because the government takes out 32% in taxes, plus the state takes another 7%.Oh, and then they decide to have deductions for medical insurance and a 401K plan, another $300 per month, so t
