Annual Income Tax Return Lottery
If our income tax returns can offer us the option of designating funds to go to politcal campaigns, why can't we designate a dollar to enter an annual income tax return lottery? Some states even offer tax filers the opportunity to donate to various funds for veterans, victims, Olympic games, wildlife conservation, and other things. An annual income tax return lottery would increase tax compliance by encouraging more people to file a return.Such a federal income tax return lottery could be done o

PA draws nothing, and loses their shirt.
I agree on GBSSR they should stop midday. I have e-mailed them about that and they said they have to follow the other states around them. I also suggested to put a poll on thier web site and let the public vote on it. I got no reply on that one. I would like to see them increase the odds on the 3 and 4 digit. No other state has done that.

N.H. Lottery Proposes $25 Scratch Tickets
here is the problem with certain people when they price stuff. they assume that if you double the price, you double the income. it doesn't work like that. you will lose customers on higher priced goods. increasing the price of stuff doesn't always increase the income (PA's Lucky for Life Lotto).

How many repeats to expect
Thanks very much Rick G. LOOKs like around 10% return rate..... for seperate draws within a month. Thats the sort of stat that really helps increase our chances out here. I have no multi state study to back this up but...... I'll bet the repeat rate on combined draws during the same 30 day test period is over double ......or close to20 %

Hi GURU, what's the 1.8 lottosynch Status
Looking forward to LS 1.8......just because GURU is taking his time and has put it off on the release till this month does not mean it's going to be a bust or in fact a big winner.....but as long as it is an improvement over 1.7 that's good enough for me even a slight improvement will increase my winning percentage. Plus being able to play KENO that for me IS A big improvement.Raziel

Mass Mega$uck$
Along with a cash option, the best thing Megabucks could do is go back to the 6/36 number grid it had when it started. There is no jackpot excitement anymore in the age of $200 million MegaMillions jackpots, and there never will be again, so the longer 6/42 odds don't build jackpots and help sales like they did in the past. Why continue the long winless slogs week after week when no jackpot amount will increase sales? I'd like to see more winners.

PowerBall 12-22-04: The Pigskin Challenge
The Chief wants to increase the numbers from 10 to 12 to accomodate his selection process. I have no objection. What do you think Aye and Jag?

Compute this !
If one only plays 6 way numbers after 2 doubles hit .....how much would that increase the expected 72 % hit rate for that group? After ...3 doubles in a row? If anyone just has some empirical data ... I guess that will do for now. Anyone?? Thanks
