Tonight s drawing

Two drawings in a row where the Mega is also one of the wb. Looks really fishy. Also no video of the drawings? Why not? I mean, it's 2017. They have cameras on every street corner and every stop light in California recording people and they can't be bothered to record the lottery drawings? Give me a break.
Something is not right in my opinion. I'm not telling anyone what to do with their ow

When is there a positive expectation for playing Mega Millions?
Most players don't realize the bulk of the expected value is only made up of the jackpot, so when they see a high jackpot or even positive expectation game they get very excited for no logical reason. The variance for the jackpot makes it too difficult to earn that expected value without millions of identical trials.
Anyway, the true breakeven jackpot for pari-mutuel games depends on sales, because you have to adjust the jackpot for more than 1 winner (of course multiple winners does not affe

And another $1M winner on the World Class Cash, from JACKSONVILLE. Man, Jacksonville has been hot lately. I'm starting to not see the Always in South FL... posts on the FB page, haha. Of course, Jacksonville becomes hot long after I move away from there!
@ Wbright - Sorry to hear about the crappy luck. The Orlando area has become dudsville except for the rare claim tickets that pop up there.
@ Kfla - Sorry to hear about the meh luck. I'm hoping you find a nice claim ticket agai

It is crazy. They get what, 5% commission? So $30 profit for every book they sell. The smart retailers will happily tell customers book numbers, and search their inventory to locate and sell books. The stupid/apathetic ones are the ones who fall under the fallacious reasoning that if it isn't on the display that they don't have it. I've had retailers treat me like a scam artist for asking for book numbers. They seem to think that information is confidential despite it being on the back of every

One ticket sold in Indiana wins $435 million Powerball jackpot
I know. That was all on the old matrix/odds though. Since the odds were changed we have not had a Jackpot winner in Michigan.
Also, in the over three years since Mega Millions changed their matrix/odds we have had only one Jackpot winner in Michigan. Three Years!!!
Going over Three Years with only one Jackpot winner is a record for Michigan. I can only imagine how the smaller states feel.
Come on, the odds are too high.
Keep on playing you say?
I have been playing f

So, there is a such thing.
So, I knew it.
There is such thing as an educated estimation algorithm. That's about as close as we will ever get.
In the future if there is a ray of hope for players, it will probably come from Data Science, not Statisticians.
Machine learning spends a lot of the time, working with heuristic algorithms , and statistics doesn't.
Deep learning data science is the future.
Just for the record, if an archaeologist digs up this part of LP one day he will know when th

I'm curious if they didn't show up due to the book being sitting activated for too long. I was told by a rep, and saw it on a store's current inventory list, that if a game sits activated for a certain amount of time (he wasn't sure if it was 30/60/90 days) it will automatically fall off of the stores list of activated games. He said this also can occur when something like 80% of lower tier prizes in any book are sold (I have my doubts on this for various reasons).
Anyways back to the point,

This is what really worries me about this whole process and questions whether chasing the dwindling books actually offers better odds or not. When you mentioned awhile back the lotto reps would come into the retailer and pick up open books for destruction w/o tallying the book numbers or anything to record what was being taken out of circulation, a lot of us looked at that as shady practices. But now I'm really wondering about the unopened books. There's an assumption that when these get picked

Congrats to you DK!...great hit!
I can still hear Dick's voice in my mind over and over when I called you one time and you were not there and we talked about back pain...he sounded like a very kind and wonderful man will be truly missed by everyone!
I also know how it feels for someone to hack your debit card as mine was too almost a year ago...tried to use it in a grocery store for a $4 purchase and it would not let me so hurried home and looked on my credit union's account and somebody a

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
for the record, I would never burn the American Flag.
It's a form of protest where I can never see the point; like kneeling during the National Anthem. Very doubtful that someone would burn a flag at a VFW Post or any of the other Veterans organizations because they would be protesting the Veterans, not the government, the military or the country.
In 1968 Congress passed the Flag Protection Act and 48 states inacted similar legislation, but the Act was struck down as unConstitutional twi
