I think lottery games have generally gotten worse. The $20 Lucky Streak looks decent, but the $30 California Gold game doesn't impress me much with the odds. At any rate, playing scratchoff tickets is going to only result in you getting burnt/losing cash unless you hit huge winners, or are lucky enough to hit the $500 prize tier frequently to keep sustaining play. Same experiences, although to be fair I've probably spent $50 tops on draw games this year. Spending $50, and getting only $2 and a free ticket back is not fun. At least with scratchoffs, you're typically looking at 50% back and then there's the chance for the big winners.
