Thinking Of Starting A Lotto Service
When LottoWorld Magazine was still around and well, I was the California Super Lotto ticket purchasing agent for their $3 Billion Club. They would send me the Money Order and numbers to play via Airborne Express overnight from Naples, FL. That is how they got around the postal regulations. I would hold on to the tickets. If there was a win of substantial amount I would cash in, and apply that towards the next play. Sad to say we never won the JP. There were also other agents in different States

Sign the petition - eliminate computerized drawings!
That's the first time I've heard that one.I don't agree that there is anything malicious or suspicious (sorry for the rhyme) about changing the matrix. They just want to create larger jackpots, while keeping the game so that people still feel like they will win something. The reason for fewer Mega Balls is so that people will win lower-tier prizes. It's that simple.I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with their decision, but I don't question the integrity of the decision. They did what the

California Lottery fixes major problem with Derby game
A computer can make a missile turn on a dime and then hit a penny in the middle of a forest so how do we absolutely know a state lottery computer isn't programmed to pick a selection of numbers not picked by any player? We don't know!!!! Delaware is a case in point. Despite protests to legislators its games are still being picked by computers. And its jackpots are SO low. Conclusion: there is nothing random in computer selected numbers. Computers are just another way for a state like Delaw

A way to guaranteee some money!
I already know that. I know how people are on this board already. :) I've seen what happened with the whole genius thing. Especially when he actually started posting results. I didn't see him live up to his lotto claim, but he sure did with the horses. If you knew anything about horse Dutching , meaning, putting a certain amount, on certain higher and lower paying horses, win, place, or even show, you would've made a fortune with his horse picks, guess he exptected everyone to know about

S.C. Lottery may learn lessons from Georgia
That thud you might hear is SC lotto officials seeing their money stay in NC and Ga ?Maybe........ I live near SC and play Powerball when the Pot is big( like now ), but I admit I never even glance at their other games.Right now, I am working the GA Fantasy 5 real hard, but I suspect the days of the huge jackpots( 700,000-1,000,000) are over since they started awarding one quick pick for matching 2 of 5 numbers. This enables more people to jump right back in and dilute the large pots. Good o

Lottery officials forsee $500 million Mega Millions jackpots
Here's what I don't quite get. 1. Their computer says that there is a high probability of a $500 million jackpot (Probably going to a Californian). Remember when computers were going to revert back to 1900? Anyway, are they taking into account that a huge lottery-playing population could work both ways? It could result in a high probability of a huge jackpot, but it could also result in several low jackpots getting hit.2. How can they expect to have a jackpot in which the cash option was bigger

Tonight's Tenn. Lotto 5 Jackpot: $1 Million
The Tennessee Lotto 5 jackpot climbed to an estimated $1 million after Wednesday night s drawing. Excitement is building about the first in-state million-dollar jackpot, said Rebecca Paul, CEO and President of the Tennessee Lottery. When jackpots reach record levels, we raise even more dollars for education. In addition to the $1 million jackpot estimated for Friday night s Lotto 5 drawing, the Powerball jackpot continues to swell. Since there was no grand-prize winner in that game after last n

Pigskin Challenge 5/4/05
I think we will see a huge demand for lotto tickets this weekend. Jackpots are perfect and we just added 3 new instant tickets. Chances are if you buy powerball, lotto 5 or any cash game you will also buy a scratcher or two. Most of our sales are scratch tickets too. I can't wait to see how long some of these lotto lines are going to be near the AL state line too. Al doesn't have a lotto and I read somewhere that 32% of sales come from out of state buyers. 78% of those are from AL.
