Your State Now Having Both Powerball And Mega Millions
I will probably play both equally. If I start feeling like I'm spending too much money, I'll cut back to only playing whichever is higher. I only play Lotto TX when it's big. For my pools, I'll play whichever one the pool was set up to play unless one is a great deal larger than the other. This is, however, causing me to buy tickets more often for the pools. I used to buy them for five draws at a time; now I may have to buy them for just two draws at a time to monitor the jackpot size.

Whats the deal with all these Consecutive number combo's?
It may get easier but it doesn't get more likely. As the number pool gets bigger there are more combinations with consecutive numbers, but there are also more combinations without them, and it's the combinations without that increase faster. That means that consecutive numbers are less likely as the size of the matrix increases. Drawing more numbers obviously increases the chances for consecutive numbers, since each number drawn is another chance to have a consecutive number. As far as PB and

Pick 6 Strategy - Need help
In the pool, I don't eliminate any numbers. I play all 54 numbers. I just put the lines together by random. So, I'm not worried about picking hot, cold, or average numbers because they are all in play. There are 54 numbers in the matrix. There are 6 numbers per play or line. It takes 9 lines to play all 54 numbers, ie: 9 x 6 = 54. The good news is that we won $3 on 3 of 6 in the last couple draws. The bad news is that is takes $9 to play each time like that, so we still lose $6. LOL. But,

What makes a Good Quick Pick??
It wouldn't be totally random if the RNG has filters. Now, I have been using LP's RNG, but I also decide which lines to play off of it. For example, for Tx Lotto, it's a 6/54 game. There are 6 decades in the matrix, but most draws only 4 decades play, (singles, teens, 20's 40's just for example). So I pick which line fits the filter of playing 4 decades. Obviously, this is not totally random, but it allows me to have some randomness along with playing what happens more frequently in the draws

50 cents on the dollar paid back in winnings
I'm pretty sure the question is clearly asking about what percentage of the ticket cost goes back to players as prizes. About 50% has been fairly standard, though some games pay a bit more. That's a convenient statistic, and I'll often say that your long term results will probably be losing half of your money, but that's an optimistic simplification. Smaller jackpot games may vary, but while PB and MM put about 50 cents on the dollar into the prize pool, almost 40 cents on the dollar goes tow

Actually, the probability of $300 M jackpots in MM is slightly higher with new states.
Using pure numbers, the average jackpot will be the same. Just more more hits more often. As this writer points out, as coverage goes up, so do sales, so does coverage, and so on. More sales means more coverage and more hits, but is also means higher jackpots. One of those magical reciprocity things. But there is an unknown. Where humans are involved, you can't use pure numbers. No one can predict exactly what will happen with four jackpot draws per week. You have to start over with sales ex
