What to do with all that money?
While I was dreaming of what to do with my $86 million after taxes (Hey it did go in my state at least..haha) I came up with a pretty good idea. Well first you have to spend. Take the extra 6 million and go on a spree. Cars, houses, whatever you want. Then you take the 80 million left over and put it in a rising rate CD that you could get 5% right now with. 80 million @ 5%....that's $4,000,000 in interest a year...almost $11,000 a day...in interest alone. Now that would be the way to go.

However, I probably would still play even if I already won a jackpot once or had such a job of a lifetime that I wo

mega millions and powerball jackpot poll

Didn't we reach over close to or over 300 million a few years back? In life all things are possible. Let's see what happens when California joins. You recall correctly. Mega Millions awarded a $363 million jackpot in May 2002. But if $500 million was predicted when NY joined, it never happened... not even over $400 million.

any big winners? anywhere?

I suppose that matching the numbers does make people understandably hesitant to mention it. It might sound like boasting when the whole thing may have been the result of a lucky quick-pick. It might also be that they don't mention it becau

The End of MI WinFall.
Their claim that when it started they got $1.5m/week and now they get $1m/week is easily explained:When they started, they had 5 rolldowns IN A ROW. Now, they've had 2 in the last 6 MONTHS. If fewer people won jackpots, there would be more rolldowns, and more people would play. Maybe they could add a couple of numbers to the matrix.a 6/47 game is disappointing, especially coming from a lottery that normally is pretty ambitious with its new games. In the 30-year history of the Mass. lottery they'
