Winning?
ryanm, I'm dphillips (Blue), and I played Powerball last September, winning $500.00 -- the highest amount I've won so far. Since I played the extra dollar and the ticket was originally $100.00 -- and the multiplier was 5 -- I was lucky. In fact, I always play Power Play with all of my numbers because if I don't hit all 6 numbers, I might stand a chance to increase my odds!

Mega Millions sets a new record
Even without a rollover, I think the Jackpot will rise with the amount of people playing it, and the amount of cash people put on the game. Like last time, the jackpot was more after someone had won. So, I think we should see a increase in the prize amount before the draw, and after.

SC has a Powerball Winner!!
you can't blame it on too many states because north dakota and tenessee have yet to see a jackpot winner. is powerball gonna have to increase the odds again, or maybe rework the prize payouts?

chances of winning
Wheeling enough numbers which will generate a lot of combinations can increase your chances as long as the group of numbers you choose contain the WINNING NUMBERSand you can afford to play the combinations.

MegaMillions picks 06/08/2004
When looking at MegaMillion 215 draw history, I noticed that 80% of the numbers have hit 17 or more times and covered 85% of the 4 and 5 winning combinations and 68 of the last 100 drawings haven't included a number from the previous drawing. If I adjust my numbers playing pool accordingly, I would reduce its size from 52 to 37 numbers making it more like a Buckeye5 game and maybe increase my odds of a match 5 by 500%. Just a thought of one way to reduce my picks for Tuesday drawing.Good luck Me

More changes in Massachusetts
Megabucks really needs to improve their prize structure and payoffs on the small prizes too. The free ticket prize has got to go. A bonus ball like tri-state megabucks to give more chances at winning a lower prize would be nice, as long as they do it without the cheap payoffs of tri-state. If they increase the number of balls or make it $2, cash option or not I am never buying a ticket for it.

$300 Milion jackpot.
I voted one to two years because it would have to be a special run since we have more states in the powerball to break the record. I would hope it would happen this year but with the increase in more players I don't think it is going to happen for awhile.

Are these winning systems real?
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on May 21, 2004I'm not against systems. In fact, I am all for people who try different methods to see if there's anything that can increase your odds. I've tried a few things myself. However I'm strongly against people who scam others by saying their system is guaranteed or automatic .of course theres no guarenteed systems yet.The way leading to a winner is always full of risks. But we are just trying to make a way winning better and better.Relying on this,we

The new Massachusetts Game.
from today's Boston Herald:>The new jackpot game, dubbed ``Cash WinFall,'' is set to debut in September. Players choose six numbers with each $2 bet. Matching all six wins the jackpot, which starts at $500,000 and grows until somebody wins or it reaches $2 million. Any loot over that goes to increase the winnings of those who match fewer than six numbers.
