Fantasy Five in California- BEST BET
I would love to win Mega Millions or Super Lotto, but I play mostly fantasy five (a pick 5) game from California lotto. It starts at a $50,000 jackpot and adds up when no one hits and it rolls over. Biggest here were around high 400k or just over 500k. I say it is better to stand a chance (well it is still long odds but not astronomical) like the ones that have the picks and the bonus ball (Mega and Super lotto) Am I nuts or is getting 50.000 plus a better bet than trying for MILLIONS?

If recent past history is any indication, it's near certain to backfire... Sure, Powerball and Mega Millions will remain highly profitable, but, presumably, will generate revenue at a slower pace than in the past. Many participating lottery jurisdictions will respond by focusing their marketing elsewhere - Powerball and Mega Millions being relegated to being niche games, occasionally getting mainstream play only when the jackpots get huge.
