How are jackpots split if 10 people won at a workplace?
In this situation it may be best to claim the prize under a trust or LLC. That means obtaining an employer Tax-ID number to handle all of the tax issues and distribution of funds. Before you or the group does anything....it might be best contact a tax professional to handle the semantics.
It is also a good idea to make sure the tickets are purchased in advance so enough time can be made to copy the purchased tickets and give copies to each contributor to the pool. The last thing you wan

Normally I filter my tickets down to approximately 30 lines of numbers. In Ohio, as you already know RJOh, that amounts to six tickets to be filled out. My normal routine is getting the numbers figured out, inputting, wheeling, processing, and saving the results. By the time everything is completed, I am usually running short on time and thats when I'm happy I don't have to fill out six tickets by hand. Admittedly, six tickets is not considered a bunch of tickets by anyone's standard, but when y

Do you Believe Lotteries are Random?
Years ago I had a man on my route(per my job) who insisted that the only way to get all 5 numbers on Fantasy Five(CA) was to choose your own numbers. LOL more than once he said that the computer only lets so many tickets win. He must of been basing this on the numbers the machine picked for its QP's otherwise the machine would also know his numbers. Anyway he kept a spiral notebook where he wrote the winning numbers and each line would have one or two numbers circled. Every time he showed me his

How much do the odds increase by buying more tickets?
Is there a way to calculate at which point it's no longer worth buying more tickets? What we do in the office is that when MA Megabucks (pick 6 of 42, jackpot odds 1 in 5,245,786) gets high, we pool our money for some tickets. So say we managed to get together $100 for a draw, and some more people want to join and we can possibly get up to $150, I never could figure out if the extra $50 would be worth putting in for that draw, or we should hold off and use the $50 for the next draw (assuming no

Mass. Lottery proposes changes to Megabucks game
You know, I never quite agree on games that just offer variety, but still cost the same as the other HUGE MULIT-STATES GAMES OF THIS COUNTRY. how about lowering the cost of these games, which won't be done of course.. . FINE. Then how about, lowering the number pool, say to 39. This is just a form of variety, and players who get bored with other games will go to this, also the appeal that its a state-local only game might also add to its luck in surviving. But now they want to change the name to

Just venturing a guess, it looks to me like the results from the Gail Howard B Chart. Taking the numbers from the last ten draws and wheeling them. That part of the theory works in the sense all five numbers come up in less then 59 numbers in the last ten draws often enough to be interesting. The slide bar for the combinations to play looks like a fair sized wheel mostly not visable. A wheel that size would most likely be a 3if3, 3if4 or 3if5, not exactly cheap for little return unless you ar

Lottery pool
But what's so wrong with pooling? Are lawmakers worry that some people will take other people's money or are they worry that pooling will win the lottery quickly...And something tells me that is because they worry that someone will win the lottery quickly...
i think you can start your own pool by people you know, but by advertising it, is illegal...You can do it secretly but don't advertise it on the internet...You can go on the streets and talk to people ask for their phone number and then y

How much do the odds increase by buying more tickets?
Sure. Then why not take it to buying 200 tickets, which by your theory would make the odds only 2878 to 1 (odds are expressed as 2878:1), or better yet, 2,000 tickets would make them merely 287:1, Why not just keep going til you had a lock ? What's $75,000 when it would take the odds to 7.5:1
NO MATTER HOEW MANY TICKETS YOU BUY EACH TICKET IS UP AGAINST ODDS OF 575,757:1. ONLY ONE SET OF WINNING NUMBERS IS DRAWN. ONE OF 575,757 COMBINATIONS WINS A JACKPOT (and that's if anyone has it). ALL TH

Dear Hans,
Thanks! Also is it possible to summarize bankers summations ? ie 1 - occuring 50 times, 23 occuring 10 times, etc, love that you are complementing my short-burst random pool with long running permutations, its defintely worth watching develop, if your key bankers deliver, on semi-consistent basis, they will be silently incooperated to my own strategy, i will continue to predict post analyze as usual, but keep close attention to your wheels.
Thanks again!
