States pull the plug on Monopoly Millionaires' Club
Who do you think profits from it and runs it? Thrifty what world do you live in? Who do think the lottery officials' pay checks and pensions come from????
Who do state officials work for?
http://www.star-telegram.com/news/politics-government/article4359882.html
Lottery sales are ending the year at a record-breaking pace in Texas, and state officials are striving to keep the revenue rising with a new game.
Still, the growth isn t enough to keep some lawmakers from pressing forw

Powerball Matrix Change - April 15, 2015
If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the payoff does.
Some people like to play on a consistent basis. I've seen the PB jackpot won at the 40-60 million range quite a few times. There are people who are die hard players who will play the game no matter what size the jackpot is.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you stil

Thx Plshelpme!
Its all about helping one another win more and more $$$. We all in this thing together.
People gotta realize that. And if some ppl post pics and talk about other stuff, so what? Nothing wrong with that.
But... as long as we all stick to the numbers and everything related to numbers, its all good.
And for the record, I get along with Tech, Clubpulse, and Geeweezy. I talk to Geeweezy on the phone from time to time...
So... at the end of the day, we all here

Poll: New National Game October 19th - Will You Play?
It looks like Monopoly Millionaires' Club losing money has caught the attention of the media. I read an article in the Indianapolis Business Journal about the lottery losing money and the burden it will put on their private vendor if it doesn't succeed. The lottery cannot be happy about this at all. (Internally, they are obsessed with mentions in the press they literally track every news story posted, date etc. They have even started relying on the media to drive sales for record jackpots.)
I

So what would the "Holy Grail" of Pick 3 playing be?
For the record, I think WIN D rocks! He has developed a wide range of innovative methods for Pick 3 that WORK. And, he has been incredibly generous in sharing his methods with the LP Community.
Now, can I please re-focus this discussion on the point that I was trying to make?
Pick3guy claimed that the law of averages could tell you how often to expect any given event, but not how many draws to play. I argue that the probability distribution does give information on how many draws to play f

~Why People Aren't Buying Lottery Tickets ??
In another thread we're deciding if MM sales higher, lower, or flat, but I came to the conclusion with the effect of changes in that game, changes in PB, the new Monopoly game, the size of either game's jackpots and other contributing factors, overall sales of all games is the only way to tell. If lottery sales are down in Maryland, there must be a contributing factor which I'm guessing is their casinos.
A side note, here in Tx PB sales are down, as they also mentioned in the article about M

Are Mega Millions sales really that bad now?
Sales were $44,498,322 for last night compared to the 3/14/2014 sales of $43,702,292 for a $240 million jackpot. And is more than the $36,816,769 in sales for a $230 million jackpot on 11/29/2013. The $230 jackpot was increased to $270 million and the $230 jackpot went to $257 million. It sure looks to me like the sales for last night's $224 jackpot were HIGHER than larger jackpots and jackpot increases were about the same.
The current Mega Millions prize is on it's 18th draw and about two y
