Woman sues TV station over lottery numbers errorReply
I have watched the evening news and have seen the pick 3 and pick 4 numbers on the news crawler at the bottom of the screen and known they were wrong. How did I know? Because I had called the lottery winning numbers line earlier in the day. So yes, the station goofed. It does happen. However I DID NOT have any pain from it. Yes, 25.5 million was the jackpot amount. I guess Hargrove could enjoy the praise from me... however i would also tell her that she needs to pack it up and move on to another state. Funny, I was just reading about this on Tx Lottery website the other day. Reading the Commissioner's meeting minutes, they are implementing a rule change regarding the cash option. Right now, if a person buys a QP at a self service terminal, unless cash option is specified, it defaults to the annuity option.
