state lottery - government fraud exposed
Playing state lottery is now not a question of trusting your luck but trusting your governmentNovember 23, 2004, as I exposed Juan Rodriguez , incredibly I also realised, by looking in the web, that there was NOT ONE page that explains the underlying mechanism of fraud : how the goverment takes the big jackpots - till the last cent.Although there are probably more than one billion people playing lottery around the world, and all the major lotteries now are rigged using that same trick.I had nev

Massachusetts Judge Denies Demand for Lump-Sum Lottery Prize Payment
Quote: Originally posted by Lee123 on December 31, 2004Keeping the 7% is all right but what you dont know she is 94 years oldWe DO know she is 94 years old - it's stated in an earlier story!MOST states have the same rule about their lottery jackpots - and they're clearly spelled out. As I said before, if the lottery commissions started making exceptions, you're gonna get chaos. And I do believe the rules are actually a legal thing - ie. can't be arbitarily changed. We're talking legally binding d

Details of lottery winner kin's death still sketchy
In reply to Elvis TCB. Mr Whittaker is putting himself in the news not the lottery people, his stupidity keeps him in the news. You never hear about anyone else that wins large amounts of money because they find financial advisor's and go off and live quiet solitude lives out of the limelight unlike Mr Whittaker, who did everything he could to keep his name in the news. But my deepest sympathies go out to his daughter and to him and his wife at this time in the loss of a daughter and grand-daug

$40 Million NY Lotto - Biggest Jackpot in the World!
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on December 19, 2004 Who cares when the jackpot is $40 mil?? Prize return means zip, nada when the jackpot is big.I agree. And big jackpots are exactly what NY Lotto was designed to generate. The overall prize pool may only be 40% (as we've all been told), but out of that 75% goes to the jackpot. That's 30% of all sales going to the jackpot. So the jackpot payout is about on par with the rest of the nation (FL Lotto pays 31.5% of sales to the jackpot). That's yet

New Jersey

I wouldn't mind NJ changing it to be exactly like the NY game except for the prize return.I sincerely hope you're wrong. Why the heck would we want a game that's harder to win?? We already have Mega Millions here, we don't need another game with odds that low. I like NJ's game the way they are, except for the Pick 3 pari-mutuel

Record Powerball lottery winner's life a mess after big win
Quote: Originally posted by smd173 on December 16, 2004There should be a petition to claim jackpots annonymously. I know why the lottery says they make the names public. But since more and more lotteries are drawing their numbers annonymously (ie: via computer), why can't the players claim it that way without having to go through the trouble of making up a trust?States purposely don't have players claim prizes anonymously because it's one way that the public can have confidence in the game. Click a game to play
Quote: Originally posted by JimmySand9 on December 15, 2004Play Florida Lotto. That's the best game in the repitroire. They should really add some more games. I'd love to be able to play OR Megabucks (great payouts!)Personally, I really like UK Lotto and Euro Millions the best. A lot of people avoid them because they're a little more expensive, but actually the payouts are MUCH better, and all jackpots are tax-free. Just keep your millions out of the USA!For example, the smallest prize you'll

Winning Powerball lottery ticket sold in Pennsylvania
Living in a Powerball state, I don't usually keep close track of the Megamillions jackpots awarded, but I do remember a fairly recent single ticket win that would address at least two of the criteria of your question. It was from the south, I consider Stephens City, Virginia to be south, and it was certainly well over $160 million. As to whether it is still the most recent multi-state jackpot to fit the other parameters of your question, I can't say... but it does qualify for being over $160
