I don't think that Sixteen is saying that the Mega Millions lottery is rigged per se although I, myself, have been at times and will continue to be a staunch conspiracy theorist that is until THEY prove themselves otherwise. Iowa does not have a separate version of Mega Millions. Mega Millions is a multi-state game -- the same game played in every state. The Oct. 22 drawing will be the first to incorporate changes that are designed to produce more smaller prizes and bigger jackpots, without raising ticket prices. I read an article awhile back that normal player numbers a very low until jackpots get up into the 100 millions. Once they start getting up around 300 400 million player numbers go thru the roof. I've never understood the logic behind players spending hundreds of dollars on tickets.
