Take 5 Bonus Week - 65% Payout
I'm definately starting to see your point, seeing that there have been more rolldowns lately. If they just don't advertise the jackpot (like the 5+Bonus prize in Lotto), we might see a record top prize (the old record is somewhere around $250,000 back in the Tuesday/Friday era).

Pick 3 Lottery weekly reader 10/23-10/29
I really was, Win D. And I didn't even hit it on the prediction board. BTW: Those 6 way combos are keeping close to the record post that I posted on your Pick 3 World Record It was good of you to post that.

CDN Lotto 649 Sets A New Record
The CDN Lotto 649 has set all-time record for any Canadian lottery at $54.3 million for the Oct 26, 2005 draw. There was one winning ticket. The previous record was $37.8 million for Super 7 on May 17, 2002.

Sikeston Mom Wins $853,492 In Record Powe
Thought I'd post these stories of a family who won Match 5 in my neighbor state, Missouri!http://www.kfvs12.com/Global/story.asp?S=4022406 nav=8H3xhttp://www.molottery.state.mo.us/app/news/showArticle.jsp?aid=1921Sad to hear about them having to be on disability at such a young age. They will surely enjoy the money it seems :)

Powerball Coronation Ceremony
The only record I want to break is mine. I've never won a million dollars. That would be a great record to break. However, having said that, should I win multi-millions, I am keeping it all for myself.

If there was no cap.....
I disagree with the cap being a bad idea, but I do think it shouldn't kick in until they're $25 million over the record US jackpot, not simply the record Powerball jackpot. The cap rule is respectful -- Powerball knows when to say enough is enough.

Powerball Sets A New Record
Jake649, I was happy to see Powerball start over and set records. I hope PB repeats the process and make a new record to surpass the North American jackpot record of 363 million.

Probability of a Rollover in Powerball.
The recent powerball sold $166.5M tickets, a record, and far more than I thought it would. It did not exceed Jack's record cash jackpot.Based on the final sales, the actual outcome (1 winner) was the most probable, barely beating out another rollover. The probabilities of various numbers of winners looked like this: 032.17%136.49%220.69%37.82%42.22%50.50%60.10%70.02% The new reset value will probably sell around $12M worth of tickets (estimate), and the distribution will look like this:092.04
