You have won: the morning after
After jumping up and down for a while I would sit myself in front of my computer and research on the internet people who have won big jackpots and get my hands on as many articles as possible about what those lottery winners DID and DID NOT DO!!! What a better way to find out how to handle a situation like this than from people who have been there before. After maybe a week of research from what I have learned I would then get my dream team (lawyer, accountant, financial planner etc) togethe

If random is not random and logical is >
Smaller Pick-5 games like when Florida was 5/26 had a point up to which if you played all the prior winning combinations each day you would have made a profit because there were something like seven times a five number combination was drawn that had been drawn previously. You do reach a point where even the little jackpots can't cover the cost of playing $500+ per day and the miniscule 3# and 4# prizes hardly helped.Sums, etc. If the game is in balance all the gross fields will be close to or

Does A Jackpot Win Use Up All Your Luck?
How lucky are you going to be after winning a jackpot? How long before you feel lucky again, not lucky for having won, but lucky enough to win something worth winning again? Is it possible a big jackpot can use up all your good luck forever? Some people have come back and won again, is that a good test, wonder how lucky they were between jackpots? Nothing is better than winning a lottery jackpot. A 3# prize is better than nothing. Therefore a 3# prize is better than a jackpot. Isn't english

Boycott launched to protest increase in Lotto 6/49 prices
The ILC conducted extensive consumer research across the country and found players wanted bigger jackpots, more often One can only speculate at this point as to which questions were asked. My feeling is that they were probably biased so the answers would help to justify the planned cost increase as Bob points out. Problem is that most ppl are not aware of the resulting odds increase per dollar played, and this is based on my observations only rather than stats (which I don't have) so it's just

Mathematics of Lotto
The formula is always with me.I am using it every moment.I post one draw Prediction for five top Jackpots. If I can win more than a quick pick, why not use it?I am not a guru.Anyway I am improving the chance every minute.lotto prediction has nothing to do with historcial draws.more or less we have both makes no difference to get the only correct one draw.I don't think I understand your comment. You say the formula is always with you. Is paragraph two and three the formula? Or is there a formula th

Poll - Do you play lotto on Sunday?
My state(Louisiana) doesn't offer Lotto on Sunday. Lotto drawings here are Saturday and Wednesday. I go to a convenience store to get a newspaper every Sunday morning and usually buy my Lotto tickets then. Before the Powerball game show went away, I was also buying my scratch tickets for that on Sunday mornings and mailing the entries in during the week.I've stopped buying Powerball tickets and am instead playing Louisiana Lotto. The last several Poweball tickets I bought didn't match a sing

Bigger Small Prizes or Bigger Jackpots?
Quote: Originally posted by dragon on May 21, 2004Quote: Originally posted by twisted on May 21, 2004I only play when the jackpot gets above $100 million. So I guess I would prefer the bigger jackpot prize. Why do you do that? Wouldn't $5 million make all the difference in your life? Or $1 million? $100 million is nice, but I'd happily settle for $1 million. I suppose it's possible to live one's entire life off the starting Powerball/Mega Millions jackpot of $10 million - hell, many people do
