18m if no winner
that is a pretty big increase....6 million and it was only a little over the minimum? I don't get it....it seemed to go a lot slower before.

Carolina 5
He wins a couple of bucks here and there, nothing big. I keep telling him that spending that much money doesn't significantly increase his odds. Lets say you spend $100 a week for 20 years on mega millions. 104,000 chances isn't much compared to 135,000,000.

PB $25m rollover limit may be wrong
The unusual circumstance: the increase in jackpot size is capped at $25 million when the new jackpot will set a record. IMHO, it's a layer of complication that will add to player confusion without adding any perceived value.-Todd

165m if no winner
I predict Powerball will lose a state six months after every time Powerball hits the $150,000,000+ mark. People play for the Grand Prize, not the 2nd tier prizes. Duh! I think they would be better off going to a Lotto Texas prize pool (with a slight increase in odds) then going with the route they are appearently going now.

Only 138 Million!?
i disagree what do i know. i predict this jackpot will increase up to about $145M then the next jackpot will be advertised at $200M. if this happens and we have 5 more rollovers the pot could be at $500M. i would like to see the craziness involved with a HALF a BILLION dollar jackpot. i guarantee this though-one day there will be an incredible jackpot in that range if not more than $500M. these are just my opinions.

Anybody find out the Powerball changes?
All extra money should go back to the jackpot pool. This $25million increase cap is bs. Oh, and for those who care.. the exact odds are 1:120,526,770.And increasing the annuity to 30 years is bs too. Long live Cash Only! This is even more reason NOT to choose annuity and to take the cash and run.

I bet there is gonna be no winner!
Yeah but based on how Big Game jackpots increased they increased a lot more than Mega Millions have been. Even if no one wins this jackpot tonight and Tuesday's jackpot is $110,000,000 (they might increase it to attract attention) Next Friday's won't be more than $20,000,000 more than Tuesday's jackpot. You can quote me on that. I say that next Friday's jackpot will be $130,000,000. Not much more than that.

I bet there is gonna be no winner!
if i remember correctly the last time the jackpot was this high was when it was called the big game. the jackpot was at $92M then it jumped $15M the next drawing to $107,000,000. and that was before the addition of new york. so yes it looks like something has affected the jackpot increase and MY guess is that 45 million people are traveling this weekend and not necessarily flying to buy mega millions tickets.

No winner = $110,000,000. $14,000,000 increase..not that much yet.

How much for next Mega Millions jackpot
They said it would be $82,000,000. If you ask me that is not a very big increase. Especially for a Friday night drawing.
