Help: Can Someone list me the 13 States that had: Powerball or Megamillions: Is important...
It just so happens that I produced an image showing the states that participated in each game. I made this image before the expansion to help me visualize where each game was played.
Mega Millions was played in 12 states, the dark blue ones. Powerball was played in red states, D.C., and the Virgin Islands.
Of the small states that are hard to see, Mega Millions was in Maryland and Massachusetts, and Powerball was in Delaware, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, as well as West Virginia (which i

Some upset with Pennsylvania Lottery broadcast
Pittsburghers who watch the nightly lottery drawings have been losing a little sleep lately, though it's not because of big jackpot jitters.
When the multi-state Mega Millions debuted Feb. 2 in Pennsylvania, state lotto officials asked television stations statewide to broadcast it in the same time slot as the Powerball drawing, which airs Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Instead of squeezing the Mega Millions into the familiar 10:59 p.m. time slot Tuesdays and Fridays, Pennsylvania Lottery offici

Buying Mega Millions And Powerball Online
I can't wait to be able to play us lotteries online. In the UK for instance, you can purchase your lottery tickets through the internet legally. I feel that people in finance, those that deal with stocks are fighting hard to prevent that from happening. Can you imagine testing your lottery strategy and just punch a button and play your numbers. But online lottery purchases might be coming soon, since most states want to compete for our tax dollars.I'm willing to give my tax dollar to any state th

Just Be A Player To Win Mega Millions And Powerball
Okay, i totally agree with you that if you bought every possible combination of a lottery your odds of winning will be 1:1, but there is a problem, we do not know for certain what serial number out of every possible combination the winning ticket will be. Did you know that every lottery line sold has a sequential serial # in it. That's right, in powerball and mega millions and any other lottery for that matter. Every ticket has a number in it until we reach the 1:1 of every possible combination

Powerball outmuscles Mega Millions in sales, jackpots
I always thought Mega Millions had more flair than PB as well....the title Mega Millions speaks for itself.
I also thought these two were in competition with each other but once the cross selling begin, PB took off!
I don't know why MM did not raise its opening jackpot like PB did and I still don't know why the states don't want to make the megaplier option available to everyone.
And as far as name recognition, everyone who play knows that MM holds the record for the highest jackpot.

Couple of minor changes at USA Mega
Just a quick update on the USA Mega web site:
The Mega Millions cash options are now shown in the exact amounts, as reported by the lotteries, as opposed to previously when they were show rounded to the nearest million dollars. Jackpot Alerts for Mega Millions also include the exact cash amount. The Megaplier is now included as part of the text news announcement that is posted immediately after the drawing takes place.
Nothing Earth-shattering here, but useful for people who look for the

Lottery winner gives away millions
The article reads: She set her sights on winning a very specific amount of money in the lottery. Enough money to support her family along with any charity she could ever dream of supporting. The dollar amount, she says? $112 million...It took only four months. In May of 2007, the Los Angeles resident bought a two-dollar ticket in the California Mega Millions lottery with her father and brother. They won her dream amount $112 million and together decided to take the cash payout of $67 million and

Can Goldilocks Help?
I noticed in looking back...it does not work well with Mega Millions...your right...I have seen better results in the past with Cash 5...but it is as good as I hoped. I am trying other things...this one thing I was doing with Cash 5 had a 4/5 hit...however to do that one I would have to play 49 lines every day twice a day or pick one of the columns of 7 and go with it per drawing.
This other thing I am working on with Mega Millions looks better based on past results...but requires 128 lines
