I organized pool play long ago. It was very annoying. One of the annoying people is in prison now, at least that is what I heard. If you have to set up contracts and such, you have no trust. Trust is when you just get the money to pay the tickets and when the pool members show patience. A laugh, a beer and a pool game, the lottery can wait.

I agree. I like your buying strategy. I like to tell myself that it doesn't make any difference when or how I buy. That is a sad outcome but probably for the best. Pools can go bad very quick, especially if you win a big Jackpot. This disturbs me to know that the Lottery Pool is regarded as state money . Not just the 50% (or more) that they skim off the top, but the prize pool that exists to payout winners. IMO, the prize pool should be considered as separate from the state budget, and held in a trust fund just for the purpose of paying winners. Shouldn't have anything to do with the state budget.

Which raises a few questions LM: What is the purpose of everyone in a lottery Pool getting a copy of their tickets? When I was in a pool with co-workers, the members copy of the tickets was for them to know what combinations were played on their behalf. Some members wanted to check for themselves when told the pool didn't have any winners.

Pool dream
dreamt of a swimming pool wth 3 separate sections labeled A, B and C. Then each section had a power cord that plugged in, but the last section was upside down and exposed the prongs. Crazy! Thanks in advance!
