And bout Laverne's lotto machine mishap earlier, YES that happens to me often. The cashiers run like 10 slips through for me, and when I get home to check them, one of my tickets prints twice and the one ticket I feel confident about mysteriously doesnt print! Happened to me so many times that I now doublecheck my tickets right at the counter.

Tickets for updated Mega Millions game on sale Saturday
I tried buying an advanced draw ticket today and the machine would not accept it. They offered to sell me one for one draw and I declined. I'll just wait until tomorrow.

Do some people not care how much they spend on lottery and feel it will be worth it if you win?
I bought a scratch off ticket one time for $2 out of a machine. I think it was some lucky 7's game and the grand prize was like $700. I regretted it before I even scratched it. For some reason the scratch off tickets do not appeal to me een though I like bright colors and designs being an artist. I think I like picking my own numbers too much.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I bought a $5 poker scratcher from a machine at a gas station, the machine ended up tearing off a small part of the bar code but i didnt notice until a few days later when i went to scratch it, it turned out to be a a $6 winner, 2 places couldnt turn it in, 1 clerk tried every number on the ticket and couldnt do it, on the self scan machine it says it is a $6 winner. what can i do to turn it in? do i have to mail it in to the CA lottery? thanks

Why is it that when checking your losing lottery tickets- the machine always says " Sorry"?
I bought a ticket once as I was passing through florida. Went to check it and the machine said Sorry Cracka girl. You be old school!

Is your clerk careless when tearing scratch-off tickets?
Here is PA, they can still manually cash it with the hidden long code under the scratch area. I never really had a problem. I have seen it worse in machines where people change out tickets and forget to change the cut length in the machine when going from one size to another. I have also seen it work in your favor where the cut length should be 4 inches and its larger(if they went from a $20 to a $2 ticket in the slot) and you end up with 2-3 for the price of 1 :)

Woman who let Powerball winner go ahead of her has no regrets
Even though the machine probably would have picked out a different ticket, if it was me, I probably would have still given the young lady a half a million or even a million just for the hell of it regardless. It was that young woman's act that made it possible for the lady to have ultimiately benefited.
