Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh, You missed the point of my post, which is getting to be par for the course here. You're correct that the simulator won't let you single step or run multiple lines against the random draws it generates. However, you CAN uncheck the Quick Pick box and manually set your single line of numbers to whatever you want, for a minimum of 104 random draws. If you could be convinced that what happened in past draws is having NO impact on what happens today, or tomorrow, you might find the simulator

HELP me please asking all programers
To get all combinations of any numbers you want for Pick 3, Pick 4, or Quinto, use Lottery Post's Positional Wheel Generator: https://www.lotterypost.com/wheel/positional. However, your list contains all the digits 1-9 (only excluding 0). So my guess is that you don't want a wheel, but you are looking for something else. Otherwise you'd end up with a list of 729 combinations, and I don't think that's what you want. If you could be more descriptive of exactly how you want to combine those

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
RJOh, In your response this morning to my above quoted post, you said, I don't know to whom your question was directed since you responded to your own post but no one has any reason to be angry about your post, you answered the question asked and posted a link for anyone wishing to follow up on the reasons for your opinion and that's as much as anyone could expect. As you can see above, the primary purpose of my post was to respond to the Topic Question. As for MY question, I presume

why did more people win in the 1990's than today? Lotto.
Because if the amount of players is the same and the matrix is the same you should have the same outcome correct?? There are only 258 different ways to match five numbers in a 6/49 matrix so the number of 5 out of 6 winners depend on how many of those combos are sold including duplicate tickets. Since most tickets are QPs and there is a fixed payoff, it's possible they now program the RNGs in their terminals to distribute the QPs raffle style. When the game had a pari-mutual payoff it reall

6/49 14 Million Combinations narrowed down to 500 -8000 combinations -Its possible!
Wow RJOh, awesome stats! I'm guessing the 6/49 game you're predicting is the OH Classic Lotto? Hopefully you played those numbers and won the 5K. I don't have much experience with systems and their effectiveness in the 6/49 games as we don't have one in New Hampshire. I focus on games I can play here which are the 5/40 +1 type games and Powerball. I do use some decent systems that over the long haul have reduced my overall average odds and cost of playing, but I'm still looking

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh, I find it hard to understand why you would believe such things about me. Given the multitude of comments you've made on my posts, you, more than most, should know they are not true. You will not find one post where I said anyone was all wrong in the way they pick their numbers, nor will you find any evidence that I don't play the lottery. In fact, given my easy access to a casino and my knowledge of the absurd 50% edge the states have in the lotteries, I'm embarrassed to admit how much

Do some number combinations have better odds?
If I ever took the time to generate 28 numbers, I would be reluctant to post them - for fear some unsuspecting visitor might use them and possibly lose money. You have no reason to be concerned about that Bobby623. What you should be concerned about is the time you might spend generating the 28 numbers. If you've been following this thread recently, you should have noticed that RJOh found that the set [1..28] performed comparably to thousands of random sets that I generated over 798 draw

Would you still play Mega Millions if your state lottery's jackpot was bigger?
LottoGuyBC, focus on the larger jackpot That wouldn't necessarily be your best bet. Here's a post that might help you do the numbers to get a more precise read on the games RJOh mentioned above. It compares the straight Powerball with the Powerplay option. Using your state's odds numbers and the Megamillions ones, you can make the same comparisons to answer this Topic Question. Once you've done the work for all the smaller fixed prizes, all you have to do then for each draw is plug in

Do some number combinations have better odds?
RJOh, ...picking numbers from a list of numbers in the order they had most recently occurred in previous drawings. You're correct that I didn't read all the early posts in this thread, but I've read enough since I started following it to suspect that the Gambler's Fallacy would be employed to select the subsets of 12, 18, 28, 38, or whatever number is fashionable. It's no surprise as this fallacy is laughed at and joked about by Numerate people the world over, in many languages. Altho
