Winning $151M Powerball lottery ticket sold in Rhode Island
i have been married for 31 years to the man of my dreams
Sounds as if you hit the jackpot 31 years ago! Good luck to you too.
I just found out that Powerball might be making a matrix change pretty soon
I don't know why anyone would want the odds for PB or MM to be any higher, but to each his own, I suppose. I mean, $150 million is more than anyone needs unless the winner is a large pool, which it has been on occasion.

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
........people would continue to try and devise ways to beat them at these games all the while knowing that it's impossible to predict with 100% accuracy on a daily basis what numbers will be drawn
I didn't realize there were people trying to come up with a strategy or system that would be accurate 100% of the time. I don't play pick3 but I would think any strategy/system that got a box or straight hit better than 25% of the times would be a winning system.
I play the pick5 and jackpot

Is it worth buying a large number of tickets once a year?
The program I have can check 5,000 combos in a few seconds but the largest file I can create and check with the data base and check against itself to avoid duplication is 500. To do more I would have to completely rewrite the program and 500 is a lot more than I'm likely to ever play for real even if I was in a lottery pool.
When picking combos to play, I've gone beyond the 10-20 that I play and picked 500 to see how much better I could do if I played more lines and there's usually a match

Is it worth buying a large number of tickets once a year?
Years ago I was in a lottery pool that played 500 lines in the Ohio Super Lotto game which was a 6/49 game. The lines were picked by a computer program based on previous drawings and I with another co-worker was assigned the responsibility of making out the play slips and buying the tickets. I made out 50 play slips which took over two hours and near the end I started to make mistakes because of my lack of concentration. I decided then that I would never do that again. I can imagine the head

Has anyone ever worked out
Believe it or not this is related to a topic posted by WIN D, Magic number # 6 Why?
If you apply WIN D's observations to the topic I posted a while back, the Generalized Average Rate of Reoccurrence, you'll find your answer for any Pick 5 or Pick 6 lottery.
WIN D observed that at 6 times the average rate of reoccurrence, an event was sure to show itself nearly 100% of the time.
The generalized average rate of reoccurrence for any number in a Pick 5 or Pick 6 lottery is equal to the quan

RedToad Predictions
Well Todd'
You have taken away the magic from me.
First are you aware of the problems on your predictions page?
One of the problem is you have to predict exact numbers for the game. I cannot post 45-39-23-13-16- 46-5-==(Seven numbers given) , Mega Ball should be 35.
It Simply Will Not Accept It.
In my case predictions are intuitive, as such I will not predict an exact 5 numbers plus the mega ball, to do so will be inaccurate.
Now to wheel 6 numbers, and post that is too

questions on pools & past experiences
Perhaps you should read the offical rules of more state lotteries. Those things may be perfectly good for claiming a prize if the original ticket can't be presented for some reason. In some states the official rules specificaly prohibit payment without the original ticket, but in others states prizes may be paid without the ticket, as long as the claimant can prove that they are entitled to the prize. Without a ticket it will be harder to prove that you are the lawful owner of a missing ticket,

questions on pools & past experiences
None of which are acceptable when laying claim to the sum. Read the rules and regulations of state lotteries. THey dont accept photocopies of tickets or someones sworn affadavit.
What they accept is the actual ticket in its entirety based on the game played and time lot in which it is to be claimed by.
Lotto pools can be easily created and dont have to have mumbo jumbo jargon when placing simple guidelines. Surely adults can have some level of what is reasonable and what isnt when it com

questions on pools & past experiences
My question is this? The person who holds the winning ticket, what happens if by chance that individual passes away? All the pool members have copies of their playing tickets. Now what?
Appreciate any feedback
I would think it would go to his/her spouse or whomever their next of kin is.

Restaurant workers split $4 million lottery jackpot
Here's one thing about playing in a pool and dividing the jackpot up that many ways; all family, friends, and neighbors are going to know is you won the lottery, not how many ways it was split.
(I didn't include co-workers because in this case all the winners were co-workers- but it's probsably a good bet that the ones who go through their winings first will be putting the bite on those who don't blow it all)
But all in all, good for them!
