2 Mega Millions winners.
Well this doesn't happen often. Not only that the jackpot was so small. I would probably assume both were their own picks. They were low enough to be birthdays and such.
But New York. Its about time that state has hit. They have been in a huge drought lately and especially for selling so many tickets (the most out of all 12 states). when was the last time a NY player won?

Have any of you tried this for powerball or mega millions?
I am curious if any of you have used peteranswers.com to get powerball or megamillion numbers?
It is tarot, so I do not do it. I believe it opens you to possession, so I do not fool with such things.
But am curious of others' results.

At what level to you start to play MM or PB?
I finally answered my own question by just looking at the record MM jackpots list on the Mega Millions site... Back in 2006 Ohio had back to back Mega Millions jackpot winners and there was only one winner for each. First one on 2/28/2006 for $270,000,000 and then again on 4/18/2006 someone won again for $265,000,000. I'm sure there's smaller jackpots that have had it happen too. So I guess it isn't unheard of.
EDIT: After looking at USAMega for a minute, make that three in a row be

Which game do you play most often?
I like to play scratchers a whole lot more than I do numbers games. I especially like to try out new scratchers when they come out.
I only play Mega Millions if the jackpot gets $100 Million or more (like this Friday....which means I need to drag out my GA Lottery Player's Club coupon for Mega Millions BOGO (buy one-get one (quick pick) free)). I only play Cash 3, Cash 4, and Fantasy 5 when I get BOGO coupons from the GA Lottery. I only play Keno when I'm at a place that has that and I'm goi

How Much Will You Shoot At A Jackpot?
Looking at the raffle sales statistics, it looks like millions of people wagered $20 on one number and because the tickets were sold over time, some people bought more $20 tickets. Maybe it was easier for me to justify buying a $20 New Year's raffle ticket because I cashed $30 worth of Christmas gift scratch-offs, but I don't see how knowing other people waged between $40 and $100 would make me feel more comfortable making that bet.
The Powerball and Mega Millions statistics certainly proves

California's Mega Millions results
Let me understand this.
California knows they have 2 second tier prize winners, but they don't know how many other winners they have so they can't post any of their statistics.
That is the biggest bunch of bull I have ever heard in the lotto industry! They must think we (the general public) are idiots!
Someone please explain!

MM winner in Michigan?
Here is what the Mega website says:
Mega Millions Jackpot Winner! There was one $135 million jackpot winner from Michigan in the Tuesday, April 01, 2008 Mega Millions drawing. More details to follow after the winner comes forward to claim their prize.
Also, 9 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from California, 1 from Georgia, 1 from Massachusetts, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from New York, 1 from Texas, and 1 from Virginia. For the complete rundown of wi

MM/PB Jackpot Sizes
Just something I'm curious about, with both Mega Millions and Powerball paying out huge Jackpots, what does it take for you to get excited? Enough to really get thinking about it a lot, and give you that extra thrill of checking the numbers. Maybe enough to splurge a bit more on tickets.
The California Lottery has a system where you can sign up for email alerts when the Jackpots reach a certain level. They consider the Mega Millions Jackpot of $100 million to be big, and I think that's about

Went public too soon?
Just a wild guess; Harris called the Georgia Lottery Commission saying he had the winning Mega Millions ticket seeking information about collecting the prize. The lottery people probably gave him a choice of answering news media questions now or wait until a news conference where he would receive the symbolic huge check.
Another wild guess; many of the lotteries use these horse and pony shows as a way to make it fun for the winners and to divulge all the public information prescribed by law.

Is statistics method really useful to predict drawing number?
That depends on the game and what you re trying to do. When Mega Millions has its 300th drawing, there will be no other 300 drawing period we could compare it with and that would be assuming 300 draws are enough.
If you started playing Mega Millions at 18 and lived to 88, you can expect to see 7280 drawings but that is only 0.00416% of all 175 million combos. If it stays at two drawings a week, in another 168,269 years there will have 1% of the data to evaluate. If you limit your statistical
