The logical reason is that the interest rate applies to all of the cash, not just the increase since the previous drawing. You can see that in this table of PB values: http://www.txlottery.org/export/sites/lottery/Documents/jackpotestimates/pb20160608.pdf The advertised annuity is always the total cash value multiplied by the rate for that drawing (with a minor amount of rounding).

It's the test drawings. Before the actual drawing the lottery conducts test drawings to verify that the combinations are being drawn randomly. How many draws before actual is anyones guess. I don't know why they don't publish the test drawing results. Mabye it would give the players an edge.

cash value of PB now in top 25
With no one hitting tonights PB drawing the estimated JP for Saturdays drawing is now 314 mill with the cash value being 204.7 mill. The number 25 JP all time is 314.9 so while this is 900 thousand less then that the cash value of 204.7 is now the 17th largest in cash value. If it rolls Saturday night then ticket sales should really start picking up and we might be seeing lottery craziness once again.

Yes it's good to see the cash value of the JP starting to quicken its upward pace. I hit a 3 of 6 on Saturday nights drawing to bring my total winnings on my 5 line, 13 week subscription to $108 on $125 spent (plus $4 for ticket shipping). I've got until the May 7th drawing to try and get closer to break even this time. Hope your subscription is doing well.

It means just what is says...live drawing...like when you watch the news on TV...that's a live broadcast well this is when they have the drawing at 3:00pm live at 11:22pm at night you're supposed to be able to see it as it happens but in the last few days you can't get it until they rewind it and then you can see the re-run of the video of it. All I could see when I clicked on it was a black screen...and when it says it's streaming means it's counting down to the time for the live drawing....

Well, I'm going to be very honest with you (which is the way it should be) by saying that I can only keep up with tracking the numbers in the State in which I live. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to come up with the numbers in ready to play form going back maybe 250 previous drawings or so. And I should mention that's only for the Midday Drawing ! I haven't even found the time yet to attack my State's Evening Drawing !
