The cash value ended up going up 102 million on tonight's drawing. If my math is right they must have had about 300 million in sales. While there is no doubt the annuity amount will set a new high record the cash record will take about 450 million in sales to reach a new record there. The advertised JP of 675 million is really a very low estimate and will probably be raised daily until the drawing on Saturday.

Well based on that data I posted of last year's big jackpot, if it were to roll over three more times, by the time of the drawing it would be at least $750-$800 million. I remember watching the mega millions drawing a few years ago when it hit a record $656 million and they said if there were no winners the pot would jump to $950 million.

Tickets are now around 420,000 around 6pm. I think sales have picked up today due the weekly drawing tomorrow. I believe sales will fall again Thursday and Friday, but pick up tremendous steam from Saturday to Wednesday (the last day before the final drawing).
