how far back do you go.
I'm not sure about how far back you should go (I'm assuming you're talking about back-testing, or spotting trends- due numbers, etc...) but I am sure about if you go back far enough you'll reach a point where every number has hit just about an equal number of times. For example, 1 may not hit as the Mega-Millions or Powerball number for months, and then hit three times in a row, or five draws out of six or so. It all balances out over time if you give it enough time. When Mega Million

MM increases by only 2 million
That does make a lot of sense. I mean who in the hell would be playing Mega Millions in California right now. Why would you buy tickets for Mega Millions when odds are 1 in 175 million when you could buy tickets for SLP that has a $100 million jackpot with odds of 1 in 44 million? Brad

Mega Millions hit again!
What is going on....we haven't seen a jackpot over $100 million in forever. This winner better not be from California. New York has been way overdue. Brad

would you still play?
If mega-millions/powerball made the second prize, the 5of 6 payout to be 475,000 for 1 more number then i will embrace it, or 600,000 [the second prize 5of 6] for 2 more numbers then i would embrace it [is the only thing i can think of they will do]. Less than that i will not embrace it... However i will not embrace it 100% because powerball and mega millions are not a tri-state lotteries... .................Keno is el diablo cazador de hombres .........you can't see it............and

This is the first Powerball roll record set in this jackpot run. Mega Millions has not set any records in its current jackpot run.

Lottery winners question Calif. Mega Millions prizes
MEGA MILLIONS APRIL 11 DRAWING: There were 17 second-prize winners from Tuesday night's drawing: 6 from California, 3 from Georgia, 2 from Illinois, 1 from Maryland, 3 from New York, 1 from Ohio, and 1 from Washington. Each ticket matched all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000 each. The California second prize winners will receive $68,647 each, because California does not use the fixed prize amounts used by the other Mega Millions states. I DON'T THINK SHE W

Mega Millions & Tuesday the 18th
Quote: Originally posted by dvdiva on April 19, 2006Maybe at least RJOH got lucky. I'm just wondering why it can't break 300. It seems every game has had at least one run to a large jackpot except megamillions. At least it saves me money to wait until it breaks 300. lol As I've said before, players like you won't be playing very often because it's more likely Powerball or Mega Millions will be won before hitting $100 million than Powerball or Mega Millions breaking $300 million, and that's

Prediction Challenge
Money or no money, the test(s) would speak for itself.....and since this site is more or less about predicting the numbers (or how to), the test would be great to see. Heres a funny story - I have spent more than ten years analyzing and tracking lottery numbers, mostly Pick 3, and with all my knowledge, and armed with all my excel spreadsheets (many are over 100mb in size), and also all my ideas and theories, I cannot come close to accomplishing what my sister has done with blind luck as far
