Looking for Powerball Pool Player
Received some interest but no takers. Based on some questions I received, my friend asked me to post replies to the whole group.
This is roughly how he has organized the group. So far about 40 people paid $10 each. They are waiting for the Mega Millions lottery to get into record territory. Somewhere between $400 anf $500 million. Then they will spend all the money collected on tickets. In case it always gets won before then, they will buy the occasional tickets when the jackpot is between $2

Mega Millions Sets A New Record
The Mega Millions lottery set a new 2 roll record of $31 million for the March 10 draw. The previous Mega Millions record was $25 million.
The Powerball 2 roll record is $29.2 million and was set in the current jackpot run.
Both multi state lotteries are setting roll records.

Looking for Powerball Pool Player
A friend of mine has organized a Mega Millions lottery pool. He is looking for a member to join who also is willing to buy Powerball tickets. I suggested he join Lottery Post and post his request. He did not want to and asked if I could post on his behalf.
If you are interested, please PM your email address and he will contact you with the details. I am only interested in providing this post for him. I will not be the go-between if you join. I understand no money changes hands unless the gro

Powerball to roll 2 faster !
And what is your point? That Powerball and Mega Millions has poor odds? That's hardly news. If you don't like high odd games then don't play them. The pick 3 forum is always there for you.
I don't play the Powerball unless it hits the cap which is currently 390 million. Someone has to buy tickets before that or it never gets there. People buying $5 or so isn't exactly a waste since it does get hit under the cap all the time. Look at Mega Millions. Odds of it even getting to 300 million are ne

Mega Millions at $18 million......
This has to be a new record. The sales data is amazing also. They sold 20.1 million tickets for this last drawing. I am assuming it is from the previous large jackpot, but the rollover has never been that much. Usually at the minimum $12 million jackpot they sell around $13,000,000 in tickets. Thats almost more than a 50% increase. This jackpot run will break records on every jackpot if it stays this way. Could this be the first $400,000,000 jackpot.

ryanm...please share your wisdom
When PB had the 5/53+1/42 matrix, I played whichever game had the bigger jackpot, but got sick of switching between games and especially of going across the river just to play Mega Millions, and no, the numbers drawn for MM would not bother me, since I only play quick picks. I'm too cheap to play both games at once every time.
Consequently, I now play at least one Powerball (since that's in my home state) every drawing no matter what the size of its jackpot; two tickets if its jackpot is at

MM and PB predictions 2006
We have an MVP for Lotto predictions in 2005. It was based on who can get the most number of 3+0. However, we had a three way tie between RJOh, MADDOG10, and myself. In the end, the first tiebreaker was the number of times players hit in 4+0. RJOh had hit 4+0 two times while MADDOG10 and I only hit 4+0 only once. Congratulations to RJOh, the MVP predictor of 2005.Welcome to the Mega Millions and Powerball Predictions of 2006. Here are the rules:A. Anybody including myself must post one message r
