It costs next to nothing to use a mechanical ball drop machine. The REAL REASON they go with digital RNG is it is easier to rig the drawings and cheat the players. Instances of cheating in state lotteries by computer RNG have been publicized several times in the press. I will not play.

The Rolling Cash Five drawing is at 7:05pm. I can buy tickets up to 7pm. Do you really think , never mind. Plus it's a ball machine drawing, that's shown to everyone. I watch it every night. The name daily game was confusing to anyone outside of Washington state. Not that anyone outside of the border cared unless they lived near the border. Their 500.00 maximum payout for a 1000-1 chance is the lowest (tied) in the industry. So the only change is the name (warranted) and the fact you can advance play for 25 draws instead of 7 (insignificant) although it could hurt retailers since traffic may diminish. For 35 years the state has been cheating players with that paltry payout structur
