Lottery stop loss limit=$60 annually with three playing methods starting in 2012
I think it was in new jersey that lottery sales went way down because the areas that were playing the most were rarely winning any big jackpots.People will stop playing any game where they do not win at all, no matter how good the odds of winning are. We need more integrity in new York lottery games, let people win those big jackpots statewide new York lottery.

20 Years and Never Hit
There simple aren't enough jackpots for everyone who play to win one during their life time. Some have suggested games that are easier to win with smaller jackpots but that idea just doesn't get much traction with the average lottery players.

15 person group in Cali
I live in a town of ~35000 and I know the four places where I buy lottery tickets together sell at least 4000 PB and MM tickets every week and a lot more when the jackpots are over $100M and yet no one from that town has every come close to winning either of those jackpots. Good luck on your efforts.

Tenn. lawmakers float ideas to improve lottery revenues
The only thing they SHOULD be advertising is the jackpots to get more people to play. GA lottery puts ads on Chattanooga radio announcing PB MM jackpots. TN should at least do the same - especially for TN Cash. Its getting up there where I'm close to buying a ticket.

Time for Illinois lotto to fall
That was true but today more people playing means jackpots are won sooner and don't have a chance to roll to the larger amounts as often. In those days, more people playing resulted in larger jackpots and not more winners necessarily. I have no way of knowing for sure but I think the percent of players winning something has increased in games with the same size matrix so states have reduced the sizes of their prizes.

Why does New York always win MM & PB?
To my way of thinking, every state that contributes 30% of their local sales to the jackpots of MM and PB has a vested interest in seeing that its players have an equal chance at winning those jackpots so the drawing results are probably more scrutinized than local lotteries. After all when that money leave a state it also lose a chance to tax it.

At $27.2M, Ohio Classic Lotto is looking good again
With PB jackpot reset to $20M and MM jackpot at $44M, Ohio Classic Lotto's jackpot of $27.2M and odds of 1:14M is looking good again. While OCL jackpot has been slowly climbing, PB and MM have produced several jackpots in excess of $200M and reset a couple of times so while they are regaining their $100M+ jackpots OCL is a nice alternative.
