*spin-off* Lottery Pool and buying your own tickets/same numbers
This is probably why pools should have contracts where anyone buying personal picks of numbers from the pool forfeits the ownership of that ticket to the pool. Have it signed and notarized to make it legally binding. Personally I don't see anything against it, but I could see where the people in the pool would have issue with it. I mean, if someone is going to spend all that extra money to try and keep a little extra for themselves, so be it.

You in a Pool that forbids anyone buying tickets " on the side"-However..
Premise: I agreed to a pool that forbid me buying ticket on the side, but I did anyhow and won. Result: After an agonizing weekend, I would go in and admit that I had purchased the ticket on the side, and give them to the pool. I made the commitment to not purchase tickets, and broke my word. So I would put the tickets into the pool. Ultimately my word is my bond. That weekend would have been hell on wheels.

Monopoly Millionaires game
I too had to fight off the strong temptation to spend more than I knew I should on raffle tickets. What I did to get around it was to get a group of seven guys at work (plus myself) to form a pool. We each threw in 40 bucks and bought a total of sixteen tickets. While that does reduce a jackpot win to $125,000 per pool member (before taxes) at least forming a pool satisfied my urge to splurge. Dream of Carmel corn and a huge Pool
Had a strange dream and continued to see carmel corn, so weird. In the same dream my Sister (Christina) was in a huge swimming Pool. My Mother Father flashed in but I can't remember what they were doing. (Shirley/Frank) Also saw the number 546, like I was checking the 3-digit but not in this dream. I rarely dream of numbers.

lottery pool - san diego - anyone interested?
Hey chaps, I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good lottery pool or lottery group in el cajon. (san diego) I've done it in the past, and I'd like to join one now, if there's one nearby. I would have replied to the existing thread (from January), but it was closed

New York Dream Team 3/1/14 - 3/31/14
Lol Glow, I'm convinced there must be a small pool of people playing the quads for large sums, it doesn't matter when, the quads are always sold out. Heck, if I could form a win4 pool at work, named the bankruptcy squad (paying homage to DC's suicide squad) lol, I'd pool with them too to cover quads instead of pooling for mega/power. I once did manage to get the quad 2 in by playing on monday for wednesday, thurs, fri. Imagine that, they were sold out monday morning until wednesday.

Lottery Pools
I run the pool at work. I have an envelope in a community filing cabinet that is marked for the next draw, the date, and the amount. If someone wants to play, they put in $2 and then sign their name on the envelope. I get the tickets on the day of the drawing and then copy them and send an email to everyone that paid in along with a copy of the tickets. Any money won that isn't enough to pay everyone in the pool back their $2, goes in for the next drawing. We do not have a legal agreement in pla

Lottery Pools
I run a lottery pool in my office and have done so for around 12 years or so. Our pool currently has 12 members. Each member pays $4 on payday, which is every 2 weeks. I use that money to buy a mix of Powerball, MegaMillions, and Louisiana Lotto tickets. I buy tickets for all of the drawings between paydays, a total of 4 on 3 different games. We don't have a written agreement in place and I hope all the members are trustworthy. We play every drawing regardless of what the jackpot is. Lower tier

if invited to join a lottery pool at work: would you or not?
I'll never be in another lottery pool again, unless I decide to invite a couple people into my current system. As someone said, too many cheapskates just throwing in a couple bucks, will never do any work for the pool, and are often late paying, plus the hassle of contracts, and nevermind the even larger hassle if you win on your own and some members of your pool decide to piggyback on your winnings by suing you. I play enough lines on my own, with a more intelligent system, and will share th

If you were part of a lottery Pool that won..
I do agree. Are you still a part of a team, even if you do not show up for one game and your team wins? Just because you weren't there to chip in for a couple rebounds, a three pointer, or an alley-oop, doesn't mean that you don't still get to be part of the win. If your team wins, you win. Your record doesn't include one less win than the rest of the team. If there is a consistent pattern of you not contributing by not participating, you should be kicked off the team and out of the pool. Howeve
