the lure of KENO
When I play, I never play more than a Pick 4. I developed a computer program to search through 1,500+ Keno games looking for any consistency from a pool of numbers I fed into it, meaning I'd have it look for a game with 6-8 preset numbers of my choosing, and it could not find that string on a consistent basis. I was thinking if I could find a 6 or 7 or 8 number combination that was 'guaranteed' to hit once every 1,000 games, I'd play it, but I never found one. BTW, I'm not in NY.

Lottery Players Robbed At S.C. Store
I went to the store I purchase at often once and I saw a man with a little bag stuffed with cash and playslips. He obviously played for a pool and came into the store at a busy time. He was so nervous and he brought attention to himself. He purchased over $1,000.00 in tickets on Lotto and had more to go. I left out of the store 'cause his body language was saying, COME HERE GET ME< I GOT LOADS OF MONEY! I'm sure that was not the case in this story, but it is not surprising that someon

Odds Don't Change When Jackpot Goes UP
1 ticket = 1in14mil 2 tickets = 1in7mil I agree with Coin Toss, but I think the confusion might be that the lottery isn't the same as a raffle. Recently there have been some state raffles with limited tickets printed. So when then FL lottery sold 1,250,000 tickets and announced that 10 people would win $1 million, the odds became 1 in 125,000. (odds stated on the FL web site) So winning a raffle with a set amount of tickets that will be selected has nothing to do with the amount of c

power ball pool
I have run a pool for 7 years, and the uniqueness about ours is that we play all three of these: Powerball, MegaMillions and California SuperLotto. That got a lot of people interested. It was mainly people from work, and a handful of those outside of work. Those outside of work as well as those that left the company have provided the challenge of getting their money to me. They also understand that if they are overdue, not only do they lose out on their share of the current drawing, but they als

power ball pool
What Todd said. You have to be in a pool where you can physically shake down the 'members' so they actually pay, and you cannot do that in cyberspace. I only form pools when it gets over 100 million, and even then with a max of 3 other people at $20 each, else it's not worth the hassle, I prefer to go it alone.
