Why is it beneficial to collect a lottery jackpot as a LLC?
Thanks, pigsNtrees, but I don't think that is really an option for me right now.
The rules read:
Can I remain anonymous when I claim my lottery winnings?
No. Winners often ask if they can claim Lottery prizes anonymously. Virginia state law stipulates that a person must claim a prize; winners cannot claim a Virginia Lottery prize with a limited liability company or a trust, for example. In addition, the claimant s name, hometown and prize are public record and are released t

Confidential tax...
Hmmm, well another example I guess could be Jeffrey Dampier Jr. Who was kidnapped and murdered by his sister in-law who wanted money. Hopefully the link below makes it past the URL filter.

There's other stories too and sure it's not extremely common, but it's not unheard of. Depends on the kind of people who know, I wouldn't put it past some of my own relatives (I have no in-laws so I can't go there) potentiall

Same Mega Ball three drawings in a row...
Do this people show that on TV? I remember that for a while they will not show the drawings on tv...And why don't they record it with video cameras and show it on the internet so that people that miss the drawing on TV can see them on their website...So why don't they do this? Why are they not been sued for this...People complain about TN changing to computerized it even makes it in the news the complaining and i think they're even congressman involvement on it, and yet this is bigger than DAMN

Why not try this...Sleeping with Headsets repeating numbers..
So, do you mean to record yourself while you sleep, and then play it back the next day - all 7-8 hours of it - in hopes you might have barked out some numbers ?
Or do you mean when you think of a number that you 'wake up', turn on a recorder, and then state your numbers into it ?
OR do you mean just comprising a list of numbers as you see fit ??
The problem I had with 'number recall' is I can come up with a bazillion different number/combos in a day, there is no way to really play

state taxes on winnings Q
Hummmmm ... something doesn't add up. I have bought scratch offs from over the counter, from numerous states, and they did not scan the ticket. They just grab the quantity I bought, collected the money, and I walked away. No record of what I bought or when I bought it. This applied in new Jersey, Texas, Oklahoma, New York, and Pennsylvania. Therefore, for the purpose of scratch-offs, my position is valid. The state have no idea of who bought what or when they were bought; only where it was bough

The patterns are yes and no questions. Right now, you look at what came before and make a decision. Take repeat numbers as a pattern. Will there be a repeat number in the next draw? If yes, then set your parameter to one (1). If you think not, then set that parameter to zero (0)
My program then looks at each of the 575,757 combinations and records only those that contain a repeating number.
Now I have 12 of these yes/no questions. Set each one to 1 or 0 and run the program. Sometimes my 12

List of States Which Allow Anonymous Winners
This is the response I got from the South Australian State Lottery.
I advise that it is not the practice of SA Lotteries to release any information which may identify winners. The only exception being in instances where the winner has consented in writing to the publication of their personal details for publicity purposes. Although publicity is important to our business, our winners and their wishes for privacy come first.
As you can appreciate, most local players like to hear the
