Rule #1 For Winners
Interesting point of view. I had an Australian pen pal many years ago and he once sent me information about their lottery. I thought The Pools game they had sounded like something that would do well here. The numbers were somehow determined based on the results of Australian football games. That would probably be a hit in the U.S.
I think the lack of anonymity in U.S. lotteries is because people want to know if someone actually won. If anonymity were allowed here, they could say someone wo

Mega lottery winners to leave 'check-by-check' days
Yep you are a real man for stating an opinion that many here share. That's fresh. Sorry, but how did you step up to the plate and not jump on the bandwagon? Lots of people have said that they disagreed with how this couple is handling their win. The difference is, they didn't man up' an insult those of us posters who actually can be happy when someone wins. You want to be unhappy for them and think they are going to fail fine, but you made it personal with the insult. Remember that comment? or

'Most dangerous' sex offender wins $10M lottery jackpot
A convicted Level 3 sex offender has won $10 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The Worcester Gazette Telegram reports 56-year-old Daniel Snay, of Uxbridge, could now face charges because he failed to notify authorities that he had moved, according to Connecticut State Police.
I'm flabbergasted, Connecticut State Police Lt. Paul Vance told the Telegram. His whereabouts, until you told me about this, have been unknown to us. But I guess you could say he's very fortunate.

Car Dream
I have been noticing my records are giving the right state for certain numbers.. that is, repeats. In time it will be more accurate, I think. The longer I do this the more encouraged by it.
Actually, is it because all the dream and dream number posters are so good about sharing that I can record the info of what falls where for what dream term.

Fla Test Draws
This was the response I received, relating to the question about test draws.
Dear
As a follow-up to your recent e-mail, please note that the method of pre-testing has always been a part of the On-line drawing procedures. Since the Florida Lottery first On-line drawing (LOTTO: May 1988), testing both machines and ball sets has been a standard method of verification by both the independent auditor and the Florida Lottery sworn law enforcement officer witnessing the night's

Which is the Smarter Bet?
Captain Lotto, I know we all have our personal opinions, but you wrote
It's also important to remember that your odds don't improve by buying more tickets. The odds are the same for every ticket you buy.
Yes, the odds are the same for each ticket, but your individual chances of winning increase if you have 10 tickets instead of 1. You do only have 10 chances out of 7,777 but with a raffle, someone is going to win and a limited amount of tickets are sold. With a jackpot game like PB or

When you review the last three triples in the numbers game you will see they were 9/05- 333,11/24-111,and just recently 12/06 - 000....if you make a 3 digit # from those three trips you will get a straight number 310,but that # can also be played backwards as 013,which is my favorite baseball player's# number Alex Rodriguez who made history on the night september 5th by hitting two home runs in the 7th inning th

Delaware's 111
In case anyone anywhere is interested, multiple play 3 and play 4 numbers, mostly triples and quads, were sold out/cut-off for Delaware for Saturday night, including 111.
The number of winners reported was 1599 for a payout just under $400 K.
For the record, 111 and 1111 have been cut-off well in advance of the drawings for several days.
There is always the notion floating around that a cut-off number will not fall. I can attest from personal experience that they do fa
