Baltimore man, 81, loses his home after falling for lottery scam
You're welcome, megan81. Per your request, I'll attempt to expand, philosophically on the two different ideas in the paragraph above, below:
If one prefers that they become the type of person who doesn't need to spend more than $5M over the remainder of their life, they (like me), might do the following upon winning the jackpot of either the MM or PB. Create a notebook that indicates which 18+ year-old people you would like to share your jackpot win -- making them the co-winner name appearing

Baltimore man, 81, loses his home after falling for lottery scam
Congratulations on joining, JoeCanWin. We members have a lot to write, some is accurate and some hasn't been triple checked for accuracy before being typed.
The main ideas, for someone newly committed to playing the two largest, multi-state on-line lottery games here in the good 'ole U. S. of A. are:
- Don't spend more than $45/month to participate in 1 row, for every drawing;
- Allow two weeks to pass before submitting your claim form with your winning lottery jackpot ticket, allow up

why did more people win in the 1990's than today? Lotto.
This thread was never about the ticket sales or $$$$$$$$. Its about how 75, 89, 100, 103 to 150 human beings in Washington state almost every drawing were able to somehow attain or pick 5 of the 6 winning numbers in 1993 and today only 5 to 10 people can do it on average today.
The loss in volume of ticket sales is a contributing factor and more so a factor now because there are three drawings a week. If there were two drawings a week in 2001 or 1993, the average ticket sales per drawing we

What Lottery Games to Play ?
I'd like to get some input or a real disscussion going on what games to play or how much people spend on what they play or how they spend it. Ok ... I live in PA and for the last 6 or 7 years I have concentrated on playing the five large jackpot games that the state offers with hardly much success. I have had some small hits with the largest being $1000 on the Match 6 in 2008. Been playing the PA Lottery since it started 40 yrs ago and not much return to show for it. I started off mostly with pl

NJ Lottery sets new sales record of $2.6B
The New Jersey Lottery has set a new sales record.
Officials say the agency pulled in about $2.6 billion in the last fiscal year. That's $31.5 million more than the previous year, and marks the fourth straight year with sales over $2.5 billion.
It's been on the rise consistently for 40 years, lottery spokeswoman Judith Drucker said. Of course, having record-breaking, historic Mega Millions jackpots doesn't ever hurt.
Prize winners get most of that money, but the lottery generated $930

It was a $31.5 million increase from the previous year, and the fourth year in a row with sales over $2.5 billion.

Fantasy 5 odds are so good, why play anything else??
The Pick 5 jackpots don't come close to comparing to the Pick 6 or Pick 5 + 1 jackpots.
Five and six digit wins are nice scores but relatively little in comparison to 7, 8, and 9 digit payoffs.
I play a 5/39 game every day because in ones lifetime you are more likely to hit 5 of 5 than 6 of 6 or 5+1, but you could still go several lifetimes without hitting one.
The odds below are from the Florida website for Fantasy 5.
Players in casinos get slaughtered trying to catch sixes and eigh

Lottery ticket frenzy as Euro Millions reaches record high
By Todd Northrop
Europe's multi-country Euro Millions lottery game emerged from Tuesday night's drawing without a grand prize winner, setting the stage for a mammoth record jackpot Friday: an estimated 185 Million (US$264.9 Million, or 166 million).
And Euro Millions jackpots are paid as cash not advertised annuity jackpots like the big American multi-state games.
If a single ticket wins the top prize, it will create the biggest winner in Europe ever.
To win a Euro Millions jackpot,
