Lawsuit over $315 million lottery jackpot goes to trial
The lawyers are slugging it out for the money earned through their fees, the heck with whether winners get a penny. Have heard a suggestion that if someone sues someone else and loses, loser in lawsuits pays all court costs and all attorney fees including those of the defendant .... which would likely eliminate a lot of let's file and see if they pay us to go away stuff clogging the court system. Also my above suggestion that (stated in writing of course) each drawing represents a sep

code breaking and the LOtto...
The Lunar-phase/numbers history test: Those Washington Keno predictions yesterday hit 5 out of a pool of 14 number picks on a 20 number draw. Not enough to rattle any belief systems, but enough to re-affirm to me it's worth some more work to get a clearer answer. It's a 20/80 game. You math folks can probably compute some odds on that if you feel moved. The Quebec Banco picks, compiled by the same method, but with sunrise/sunset/moonrise/moonset times mixed in, got no hits, as a person

ga look out cash for cash 3
A Georgia triple hit in midday Cash 4 which was 9979. When figuring 3 and 4 number games in Georgia you have to look at both because they use the same pool of ballsets for both games. I suspect other states do also. Great call!! Congratulations!!

How To Protect Yourself In A Lottery Pool
The problem is when you have someone who is sometimes in the pool and sometimes not in. The win comes when they were on vacation or claim they asked Joe to front them the money or they were going to pay on wednesday, always some excuse. So even though they didn't really pay they feel entitled. After all, the money is so close and the others wouldn't be so cruel as to deny them a share of the jackpot just because they were a little late with the money...would they? Why, yes they would, as they s

Illinois Gov. wants to privatize state lottery
Coin Toss...thanks for that breakdown. The 33% now going to the school fund will then go to the "renter". They can lower operating costs by going to computer draws and not televising them. Perhaps they could even eliminate the independent auditing firm who currently oversees the integrity of the drawings. They could cut the prize pool and the vendors' cut by just a small percentage and they would be making a profit of 40 cents or more on the dollar. If they're crooked they could rig the

Food for thought regarding anonymity....
Sounds good to me. Actually, my wife said to me a couple of weeks ago the same thing that was in rule #1. I run a pool at my work and I buy my own Lotto ticket and Powerball when it breaks $100 million. My wife also suggested saying that at the press conference and saying we will decide what will be done with the money. Based on the way my family has treated me in the past, if they get anything, it won't be much. That's probably what they'd do to me. PrisonerSix

Kansas lottery tickets to be shredded, not scratched
A state law is forcing the Kansas Lottery to shred an estimated 400,000 unsold scratch-off tickets including thousands of dollars worth of jackpot winners. Lottery director Ed Van Petten said Wednesday that the state's annual series of scratcher games that benefit programs for state veterans could be sold only from May 1 through Nov. 30 under the 2003 state law that authorized the benefit games. At the time there was a fear the games could get stale if they were sold year-round, he sai

Question concerning wheels
I'd like to tap into the knowledge and expertise of our members who use wheels in the pick 5's and 6's with a hypothetical question. Let's say you're playing the pick 6 with a 13 number pool and you find that you have 4 of those numbers correct a "reasonable" percentage of the time, and you are choosing between two wheels with the exact same amount of lines. One is a 3 if 3 guarantee and one is a 4 if 5 guarantee. Which one would you choose and what would be your reasoning behind your cho

WOW ! winning jackpot system at last!
The only way for any lottery prediction software to be correct 100% of the time is to suggest playing all the numbers 100% of the time. The problem is no one has established the percent of time software predictions should be correct using a reduced pool of numbers to be useful. Most software offer a lot of tools to analyze past history and simply concludes that they are not being used correctly if they don't pick winners. Even when you get lucky and pick some winners, it almost impossible to
