I seriously did not even know there was a read out screen until recently....I've been checking my numbers at the same store since forever and until a recent thread about some clerks and their vindictive ways, i asked a clerk at the store about customers being notified when a ticket is not a winner. He pointed to the display screen that is NOT visable to customers...They have huge potato chip racks in front of the small screen (which is separated ) from the actual number reading machine...Ahhh, c

Went over to CT. Got some from the bin and machine. Hit $100 on a $30 ticket and got a 3x on a $10, plus a 10 5. Think i'll use it for the next VMC. Can't win in my own state. Bought 6 from NY yesterday and lost on all of them.

Cheating Clerk?
The other day I was at the store and turned in 3 ($2) scratcher tickets worth $7 dollars. Two were $2 and one was $3. The clerk quickly scanned them and tells me it's $6 and If I want store or cash credit. I request cash but the whole time I m thinking there s a mistake. I look at the lottery scan machine screen and it says $6. I never had a dishonest clerk at that store but I never saw this dude before. This must be my day - a second PA Millionaire's Club ticket (#016) won another $50. Got the $20 tickets from the Limerick Giant (one from each machine), and the $5 tickets from the Royersford Giant. Won the $250 last year from the Royersford Giant, but that got cold for a while like everywhere else.

We are supposed to cancel any and all error tickets upon customer request. Sometimes they will buy the mistake as kind of like a good luck mistake ticket. We aren't required to look at anyone's playslip for any reason. If an error occurs, or if they select too many or too little numbers, the machine will tell us. (except misreads,that's the customer's job to notice and say something.) There are a few customers that don't like the clerks looking at the slips. I'm not sure if you can ask the clerk

Nice one omiller! I knew those tickets were good. Couldn't help myself yesterday. Wanted to grab two or three of those tickets but when I put my $10 in the machine it spit out one 7 and said the roll was out. Ticket #059 lost, but am anxiously waiting tomorrow to try my luck again on these tickets.

In Idaho you can scan the barcode at the vending machines and it'll tell you how much it's worth, up to a certain value. I scanned a $100 ticket a few months ago and it just said to take it to a clerk. I would guess the cut off is $50 - if it's worth that or more, it won't give a value. Under $50 and it'll say it's worth $xx and tell you to scan it again if you want to apply the value to your balance in the machine.

The machine here n Lithonia was running 1 ticket every 5 to 8 minutes...So no the machine are still not running properly. Get it together Maggie..The numbers today were repeats the 831 and 8974...Can't wait to see evening draw..
