Super Raffle/Best Michigan games ever?
I was in Michigan and bought one raffle ticket. If I go back before they re all sold out I might pick up another one. It looks like they ve sold almost 1/3 of the tickets so far. The top two prizes ($4 million and $2 million) being annuity prizes and not cash prizes seems to be a sticking point with some people I have talked to about the game but it is fine by me.
Am I correct in thinking that since it is a Michigan only game it can be claimed anonymously?
I also picked up some 6/47 lotto

Why is everyone acting like they don't know NCEL is stingy, and somewhat crooked.
If you win a $1,000,000 scratch off in NY with all its taxes and withholdings, you get about $537, 000 and change.
In NC, all $1,000,000 scratch offs are not truly the said amount. They tell you that $1,000,000 is always annuity payment. You get a payout after withholdings of $400k plus. Mind you we have less state tax than most places.
Its NCEL, we just live with their shenanigans because they know we can

Mega Millions Lump Sum cash is about $100 million!!
I like to use the amount $100,000,000.00 because NY taxes the most. The actual figure for CA is $108,800,000.00 for Friday's MM 7/6/2018
Are you ready to win?
Just the facts Mam.
Do you know the temperature of the White Shores where you will be soon after winning?
As the Annuity value creeps close to $300,000,000.00 we will see new players join in.

MM Annuity for Tuesday 6/19/2018
Annuity Fan, Music ???
Say it ain't so................. I agree with you on the being set part...... Take the lump sum and be done with it. Don't chance on the unknown in the future. Look at all the winners of the PB MM over the last decade of major jackpots. You KNOW many have consulted with the correct investment representatives and about 98% took the cash.
$105 Million(roughly) minus Uncle Sam's cut of almost $39 Mill, still leaves you $66 Million... Invest 25, keep 8 for house, general

NJ man claims $315.3 million Powerball lottery jackpot
Basically there never was a $315.3 million jackpot to claim. Since I will be taking the Cash Lump Sum because of my age and health I do the math. I divide the Annuity by three and add a couple of million to get close to my correct lump sum.
I am in California and do not pay any State taxes on lottery winnings. That saves me 13.3%
Plus President Trump cut taxes on lottery winnings from 39.6% down to 37%. When we talk about large lottery winnings that 2.6% makes a big difference.

Lawyer for trust claims $456.7 million Powerball lottery jackpot
Congratulations to the winner/s!! The winner/s have to wait for more than a month to collect the prize.
The previous winners of $202 million Annuity, in Pennsylvania, Steven, and Christine White can now breathe a little bit easier. They are no longer #1 in Pennsylvania. They chose the Lump Sum of $100 million.
I like the name of the Trust. Emerald Legacy Trust. I wonder if it has any meaning for the winner/s. We may never know.
I believe that the winner/s used the month and a half

Introduction
You can find how keno played a major part in how James Carolyn McCullar won both keno and Mega Millions. They used personal numbers in both games. Self-pick in Mega Millions.
Find their story on YouTube.
They lived in Ephrata, Washington. They were co-winners of Mega Millions with Holly Lahti who lived in Idaho. They split the $380 million jackpot, annuity.
Using their personal numbers they initially won $18,000.00 in Keno. Then they used the same numbers to win Mega Millions.

Powerball Jackpot Winner last night
KIR, that $27 Million figure might be off significantly as the unknown potential for future taxes over the 30 year annuity period of time not only at the state level but the federal level as well. If you are talking the lump sum cash value of $33 Million cash minus the mandatory withholding 25% of Fed taxes and LA. state taxes of 5% then you would be talking an early take home of $23 Million and change. You would still be on the hook for the remaining federal tax of 12% and 1% LA. State Income t

Texas Lottery Goes Anonymous
Yea, I am confused about that also. Maybe they were thinking that with a small annuity such as 50K a year for 20 years (the usual payout for a 1 million$ scratcher) won't get bothered by the press, relatives etc.
Well for me 50K a year would pay off bills and set me up for a retirement WHEN I want to. If it came out public I won, my friends would want me to buy drinks, since I was a millionaire (NO, i would be a 50 thousandaire). And no, I don't want new friends, because when they find o

Texas Lottery Goes Anonymous
Effective January 1st, 2018 the Texas Lottery now officially allows winners of $1 Million Dollar payout prizes or greater to remain anonymous. This includes Scratch Tickets, Texas 2 Step, Texas Lotto, PB and MM. While this is a great victory for players, there is one little note that should also be kept in mind. Should a winner want to claim their prize through the annuity method, then after 30 days the lottery commission can release their name. If you go to the website and look on the right han
