Cash4Life
C4L is a tough game to win a big prize. And it's expensive at $2.00 a line. That's same price as a line of PowerBall numbers.
It's not all that hard to win small prizes of $2.00, $4.00 or $10.00 - I've managed to do that numerous times. But what I like about C4L is that unlike PowerBall which carries odds of 275 million to 1 to win the JP, C4L's jackpot odds are 21.8 million to 1. Second place is 7.3 million to 1, and I think you can take a cash lump sum of 1 million dollars (before taxes) as

Indiana family claims $536 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot
If you are smart with it.. In my Opinion..It is always better to take the cash. I am not by any means an expert on this, so take it with a grain of salt.
Can you trust the states to keep paying years from now, especially if economy gets worse? Look at Illinois now. Look at states unable to pay pentions of state employees.
If you are smart you can make up the lost money they took from cash option. Smart investing or simple CDs, plus keep in mind the annuity is not a sure amount. It is proje

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I received the instant liability reports for the $200MS, $2M Jackpot and Super Millions today. I am posting them below. I apologize for the formatting. If someone can tell me how to copy and paste them in a better format, I'm all ears. Also, Adam, you may have dodged a major bullet on the $200MS in Gainesville. None of the top prizes $5K through the $1M prize changed from April to July 25th. The person who bought the $200MS may have taken a big loss.

2 winners for MM minimum
I wonder if this is the first time a draw game jackpot has been won with a three consecutive number string?
It would be a real shame if both of those winning tickets were QPs. With sales being very low (because of the starting JP amount) put the odds of 'randomly generating' 2 JP winners at staggering odds - up in the billions.
Kind of a kick in the groin, having to split the starting JP. It's barely over the amount for hitting 5+0 with a 5x megaplier.
It may actually come out to be les

$361 MILLION: Powerball rolls again
I have eight draws left on my advance play ticket. I am in it to win it. I am playing Quick Picks from the RNG here at Lottery Post.
Thank You, Todd, for the Top 25 lists. They bring back memories of past winners.
I hope that every LP member is prepared to win $151 million. A few will take the Annuity.
Getting my team together will take some time before I cash in. Legal, Financial, and a couple of other ducks to be lined up.
Instead of an LLC I may choose an FLP which is a Family

$333 MILLION: Powerball offers up summertime riches
Lottery winners have targets on their back. Winners must learn how to protect their assets.
How to say, NO, and keep every transaction a business like experience.
I have learned from, Sudden Wealth by Robert Pagliarini, how to create a one-line sentence to say to all comers. It goes like this, I do not know if I can help you right now but here is my financial adviser's contact info . Whatever your reply is you must memorize it and use it when asked for a gift, loan, help in any
way.

Annuity vs Cash Value
For a lower jackpot, no.
Once the jackpot gets as large as the current PB, I start thinking about the annuity.
I'm not young, but the life expectacy tables say I'm likely to live long enough to collect it all.
but there are 2 big reasons the answer is still no.
Taxes are far more likely to go up than down in the future. Locking in the current low interest rate with a 29 year investment just doesn't make any sense.

Do any of you personally know any lottery winners?
Lots of people live in NYC with very modest incomes, but even people who are doing better live in apartments that are about the size of my garage.
If your income doesn't depend on living in NYC I'd think that moving would be a good idea, unless you've got a pretty substantial income. One of the early winners of a (then) unusually big NY lotto jackpot won $20 million, back when a fixed annuity paid in 21 installments was the only option. He told the press he was going to stay in the Bronx and

$311 MILLION: Here comes Powerball
Pay attention to the cash value. People that do not know any better are not going to play cause they don't know it's over 29 years. or whatever it is now...
I always want to take the cash. It's better that way cause you are protected from skyrocketing taxes, either state or federal.
Take the tax punch and run with the cash.
Most take the cash anyways. Honestly I think they should get rid of the annuity... offer it at collection.
Good Luck to All!!!

Scotland family celebrates third big lottery prize
WOW!! Congratulations to the family.
Observe their ages and ask yourself, Could I possibly live another thirty years? We are all living longer than we expect too. Just another thought about taking the thirty-year payment plan.
Personally, I will be choosing the Lump Sum. I do not think that my body has another thirty years left in it.
I could be wrong.
As this Mega Millions jackpot rises to higher levels than the Annuity does look better.
