The strategy deployed for playing depends on goal. As specified earlier my goal is to minimize the cost of long term playing while maximizing chances of winning at the same time. Long term profit is not an objective because statistically it is not going to happen (short term profits are quite possible, thou). I aim for the truly impossible goals. I play one ticket for any game. I also use Python to explore ideas, and to back test. The challenges when restricting yourself to one combo mean you surely do not win as much, but I am at the lowest budget possible. Currently I am experimenting with a 2 step process. Step 1. Classify the last 150 draws (NOT the full history) which gives each digit a fair chance to appear 15 times in each position. Use a strict classification boundary of one standard deviation above and below the 10% expectancy, and eliminate hots and colds as outliers. Step 2.
