Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
JustMaybe brings up a really good question. The data actually backs it up. During the stimulus check period (2020-2021), US lottery sales jumped roughly 20% year-over-year. That wasn't just bigger jackpots driving more tickets, the spike in sales started within days of each stimulus deposit hitting bank accounts. The timing was too consistent to be coincidence. There's a well-documented behavioral economics concept called mental accounting , people treat money differently depending on wh

Oklahoma couple checked forgotten Powerball lottery ticket, found out they won $1 million
Sometimes I think we take it too seriously. I for one, buy a PB ticket every draw. Am I trying to hard to win? Am I trying to force luck on myself? Some of these players that win rarely play. I also know that so many win that play religiously. I don't know what the right answer is on what we are doing wrong, but I will keep on playing as my budget allows me to and who knows, maybe one day I too will win big, only difference is I won't realize it after 4 months, it's going

Pair 8x8: 858 868 888 Pair 56: 568 Pair 55: 556 558 555 Pair 66: 665 668 666 Lottery prediction is a fun, challenging, and rewarding way to master the art of predicting a few combos that win in the least number of drawings possible within budget. Mastering one strategy is financially life changing and the wisdom can be passed down to the next generation. There are not so many money making ways to consistently compound weekly or even daily if you're strategy is awesome li

Florida's Fantasy 5
There's something I want anybody who might be reading this thread to know. And that's this - No matter how impressed (or unimpressed) any given FF5 player might be with the things I posted immediately above, it's still very hard to win a FF5 jackpot. I've had Gail Howard's SmartLuck software for 10 years, and even though my software shows me all of these things that a player can't possibly know if they don't have software, or determine very easily manually, I have NEVER WON ANY KIND OF

Powerball
I know me, and I'd feel exactly as you would even though I play for entertainment. There are Hardrock casinos located near me, but I've never been. The only other form of gambling I do besides playing the lottery is in The Stock Market, which I've done for the last 45 years. Over that 45 year time period I've made more money than I ever invested, but there were a few times (like in 2000 and 2008) when I didn't do so well. For me personally, in addition to the above, there's this - I have a

The Predictor's League (develop, test & demonstrate your abilities then let us verify your results)
Forecast #4 Level 3 Part 1 Prediction Statement: 1 of the 10 combos (per drawing) below will be drawn within 25 drawings (on or before 12/2 ). Game plan: I'll use the Martingale Betting system to achieve my desired ROI when I win. Practice the same combos and state drawings repeatedly every day. I may or may not change the state drawings while the forecast is still active. If I make any changes, I'll update the post. When the forecast wins one time, it is no longer active, and I stop p

Does Lottery Software work?
The strategy deployed for playing depends on goal. As specified earlier my goal is to minimize the cost of long term playing while maximizing chances of winning at the same time. Long term profit is not an objective because statistically it is not going to happen (short term profits are quite possible, thou). And if I make a profit in just one play (happened in June, July, August and now in October) I'm not going to stop to just celebrate the fact. The goal is long term. If I had a budget of

Does Lottery Software work?
I aim for the truly impossible goals. I play one ticket for any game. I also use Python to explore ideas, and to back test. The challenges when restricting yourself to one combo mean you surely do not win as much, but I am at the lowest budget possible. I am fully aware that playing more tickets is the only way to slightly bend the odds in my favor, but I am cheap. I have more fun coding in Python than actually playing. It can be frustrating when trying to determine the next combo, even

because in lotteries the more you study, the more difficult it becomes to predict the next draw
Currently I am experimenting with a 2 step process. Step 1. Classify the last 150 draws (NOT the full history) which gives each digit a fair chance to appear 15 times in each position. Use a strict classification boundary of one standard deviation above and below the 10% expectancy, and eliminate hots and colds as outliers. Step 2. Fill in the remaining neutral numbers into lists and use them in a QP generator I wrote in Python. The end result is just one combo, free of any bias I ma

Three $1 million winning Powerball lottery tickets sold at the same New York store
Haven't you ever heard of crazy things that people do when buying a ticket and then they won a big pile of money because they did it? The guy was stupid not crazy. Then he took the numbers from the QP ticket and marked them twice on a Lotto betslip. Then he'd buy another ticket. He ended up with two tickets. One ticket had a single line of six numbers on it (the QP) the other had two identical lines of six numbers on it, and they matched the numbers on his QP ticket. Aside from the
