The Powerball jackpot was won yesterday. Nevertheless, Powerball is still currently winning the race. But, here is a great opportunity for Mega Millions to catch up. It will start catching up with Powerball if it can achieve it's first $1 billion jackpot since the price increase.

But nonetheless, Powerball is clearly winning the overall race. Since the race began when Mega Millions ticket prices were raised to $5, the Powerball jackpot reached about $1.8 billion twice.
