Lottery Pick 3 Taxes
Hello Everyone, i want to know, if you won pick 3 Minnesota $500 prize. if you went to the gas station to cash the prize $500. You know that the lottery office does not fill out a W-2G IRS form. Would you tell the IRS at the end of the year that you won $500? My second scenario is if you won Pick 3 $500 once every Monday, for every Week, for One Year . So the total is $26000 in a year. You went to the gas station to cash the prize out for every week. and get the $500 at the gas station. There wa

US Powerball multi-state lottery game expanding to the UK
Skipped over the mandatory UK 30 payments part, which is my error.... At least it should only leave 1-2 years of fully owed remaining(7%) taxes that can be potentially not paid. Course, payment 29 and 30 will have the biggest tax collection aspect.

3 Million over 30 years. Too long to wait for all of it. That's $100,000/year before taxes.

New Hampshire Lottery launches $30 scratch-off ticket offering record $3 million top prize
Probably a thing of the past like an Edsel, but years ago some states offered scratch tickets called 'Taxes paid' and you'd actually get the money the ticket read. They weren't priced like this madness is either.

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
During the Covid Era and the ensuing Stimulus Checks, there was arguments that the free money was driving lottery sales and the massive jackpots that we saw.
Fast forward 2026 - with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and the Tax incentives - no taxes on over time and tips etc, and with the Tax season almost coming to an end, are we likely to see increased spending on the lottery from the Tax Refunds ?
It's the first time in 3 years that I have had a tax refund, I am always paying extra taxe

Any Millionaire for Life Winners?
That sucks @ them changing it. I was thinking about driving to Delaware to buy tickets because the taxes are lower then my state. But it just never happened. But if they keep raising the state tax. And if I can buy a month's worth or more. I might start making the trek. Thanks for the information. Have a great day. And good luck!

2026 lottery headlines you hope to see
Yeah, a real crummy business man. Whilke he was concentratiung mostle on NYC real estate the Japanese were trying to buy many Manhattan properties. They had done the same thing in Hawaii to the point that a few of their byers were said to have increased your property taxes if they drove on your street. So, Trump put a rule on his properties NO SALES TO JAPANESE REAL ESTATE BUYERS. Oh yeah, a real crummy businessman.

Two Illinois friends prove coworkers wrong after splitting $350,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot
So after taxes they both take home $58K each? Not life changing, but definitely can take a vacation and contribute to the savings account and decrease any outstanding debt.

Two Illinois friends prove coworkers wrong after splitting $350,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot
After taxes they are going to take home 117,250.00 each. I wonder what Randy's wife thinks about her husband and his female co worker going partners in a real estate investment. How much actual real estate can you get for that paltry amount these days anyway. Even if they invest their whole shares which they aren't going to. Sounds to me like April wants to go on a vacation with Randy also. I hope he gets randy on it she told another co worker.

Millionaire for Life multi-state lottery game to replace Cash4Life and Lucky for Life in February
I play Lucky for Life regularly and what I like most is the grand prize payout structure. If you take the For Life annuity, it pays out weekly instead of annually. $7k minus taxes so $4.5k ish direct deposited every week is a very good paycheck. I don t know if every state has the same payout structure but in Colorado s official rules it states weekly direct deposits starting from the 2nd check (you get the first check the day you claim it).
I know most people would take the $5.7m lump sum (
