When did changes occur??
Does anyone know when the changes have occured for powerball and mega millions?
What were the limits from date to date? Like how many balls were in use before changes were made? Including max power ball size or mega ball size change.
While I dont play power ball because I live in illinois I'm trying to make program to make predictions for it anyway. On the net all the drawings are in drawn order for power ball. but I need to know how many balls were in play from date to date.

Georgia Lottery makes three new millionaires
Columbus grandfather wins $5 million
A Columbus, Georgia, grandpa is celebrating a $5 million Georgia Lottery win. Prentiss Shumaker, 70, played the instant game Georgia's $500 Million Club and won $5 million.
Milgen Road Foodmart, located at 4254 Milgen Road in Columbus, sold the top prize ticket. Shumaker scratched his ticket in the store.
I stood there and looked at it, he said. I showed it to the store clerk, and he shook my hand.
Shumaker has one adult daughter and two gra

Changing Your Routine
It's about 2AM and I just checked my numbers for tonight. As I was putting them away (no winners) I noticed I had purchased my 4 Lotto tickets already on Monday. If you look at the thread I started on checking your tickets on Monday https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/169290
you will see that the first and last comment I posted both said that I bought my 4 regular lottery tickets for Wed night. I wasn't lying, and I seriously doubt if anyone noticed, but the comments don't make sense. I wish I

Randomness of the lottery
In a N.Y. newspaper, an article stated that very thing. When an official was asked why they performed pre-tests and rotation, he said...."To eliminate as much possibility of a pattern emerging".
What this official doesn't seem to get is that such procedures will have little overall effect if one is looking for patterns not necessarily visible.
One example is to take lottery numbers from certain dates in each month from within the past several years, say the 1st, 10th, and 20th then pu

N.D. Lottery wrestles with credit card buying options
Re: Snow in North Dakota, think of the movie Fargo, yah?
I get the daily e-mail list of winners for the Pick 5 game in Illinois (there's a drawing every night) and in three years of getting it I've seen two subscription jackpot winners.
The question about the matrix changing brings up a good point- if the ticket was considered still good, the player's chances are reduced even more. I wonder what would happen in such a situation.
Of course, from the tone of the article in the OP, i

Frustrated
No - most - combinations are losers that will never show up. Think about it. In my state lotto (Florida) the odds for 6/53 are approx 1 in 23 million. So if I keep playing my 4 combinations (which I have been doing for about 13 years) forever and ever, there are still well over 22 million others that might be drawn.
Since most combinations never repeat
RJOh, I agree, so then I wonder if it's because the odds are so great or the Lottery checks eliminates them during a pre-test

Job question: After winning a $100 Million jackpot, you would...
I think if you continue to work it would have to be doing something you really enjoy. I mean, George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg didn't stop directing just because they became millionaires. Jay Leno and David Letterman each make about $30 million a year and continue to work. Judge Judy makes about $29 million. What about Oprah Winfrey? Bob Barker just retired after 50 years of being the most popular game show host in history. (at least I think so!) Most of these celebrities make more in

Protect Your System
LckyLary,
If you are continually changing how you pick your combinations then you don't have a system , at best you're trying to find something that works.
I find that systems are unique to particular lotteries. I've had some minor success with Ohio RC5 and tried to use those same techniques with PB and MM and it doesn't work. This could be a result of the differences in odds of winning these games but likewise when I've had some minor success with PB, the same thing doesn't work with
