why is it better to play $5QP instead of $1QP,$2QP,$3QP, 0r $4QP at mega millions and powerball?
I have noticed that lottery players win the mega millions jackpots and powerball by playing $1QP, $2QP, $3QP, $4QP AND $5QP. As far from having better chances with $5QP. I feel that $5QP players have won the most jackpots.

i think if it was really random,then you would have more then one ticket winning the 200-300 million dollar jackpots.it would be nice to have like 10 winners winning the huge jackpots.

To match Powerball, Mega Millions should start its jackpots at $16 million and have minimum rollovers of $4 million (since the cash options for those figures in MM would be comparable with Powerball's cash options for its opening jackpots and minimum rolls of $20 million and $5 million). Of course, if Mega Millions did that, it would probably increase its matrix to over 200 million combinations too.

While MegaMillions or PowerBall jackpots aren't likely to reach a half billion dollars with their present matrixs, their combined jackpots will. With so many states offering both games, some lucky player could win them both and end up with a half billion dollars plus. I'll will be playing them both when PB comes to Ohio.

I like small jackpots and by small I mean anything from $2M-$5M (disclaimer here, I am not a millionare but considering the size of the big games jackpots anything under $5M can be considered small, right? :) ) Anyways, with a small jackpot, smart people would know not to change their lifestyle overnight.

Unless their matrices change, I'll keep analyzing the draws data from the same points I do now. Having more states contributing to their jackpots should only effect their jackpots size and the speed of their growth, not their drawings.

Depends on if that one guy is me! LOL Just Kidding..... I like to hear stories about both situations. That is why there are different levels of lottery prizes. Big progressive jackpots and lower prizes or scratch-offs....Different prizes appeal to various players... Large jackpot prizes are nice to stir up dreams but smaller jackpots are good for more down to earth fantasy...... So for me BOTH are appealing..in different ways.

You make a good point, these games do seem to be won after their jackpots roll to a value that attracts a certain number of ticket buyers. With the additional states their jackpots won't need to be that high to attract that certain number of ticket buyers.
