Prosecutors say 2 more men may be linked to lottery riggings
Prosecutors in the case of a former lottery insider convicted last year in a national Hot Lotto jackpot-rigging scandal are seeking to subpoena records from two attorneys they believe could be tied to the plot. Documents filed on Tuesday by the lead prosecutor in the case, Assistant Iowa Attorney General Rob Sand, seek to subpoena records from Texas attorneys J. Thad Whisenant and Luis Vallejo. Authorities assert that immediately after investigators attempted to interview Whisenant about t

Iowa court reverses part of Tipton's lottery fraud conviction
An Iowa appeals court on Wednesday upheld a former lottery employee's conviction for rigging the computer system to generate the winning ticket in a $16 million jackpot, but reversed a conviction for attempting to cash in on the ticket. The conviction stems from Eddie Tipton's work for the Iowa-based Multi-State Lottery Association, or MSLA, which produces computers that generate random numbers for lotteries in multiple states. As an employee of the association, Tipton was barred from playing

Paranoid or Prudent?
Look let me put it to you straight! I am not here to win points, I am not here to make friends, nor kiss up to Todd. He has a great site. Nor am I here to put anyone down. I simply speak my mind. I do not care if you made 10 mil dollars last year or 10 dollars. Your wit or wisdom or stupidity or foolishness belongs to you individually, unless you stole it from someone. In that case I am not concerned if you are a thief or liar or a complete lunitic. I have my beliefs about the organizati

Every Lottery Player Think About This For A Second...
I know about the pick3 in Pennsylvania. I would be quite surprised if such a scheme were still ongoing. Nevertheless, as an anonymous player (i.e. not the cheater and not the state), it doesn't affect me. My chances of winning are exactly the same because I pick numbers at random. I could randomly pick the cheated numbers just as easily as I could randomly pick the non-cheated numbers. No, I don't know for certain that scratchers aren't rigged. But then, how do you know scratchers are rigged

How can past draws help predict the lottery?
The Ohio Lottery's first drawn game was the Buckeye 300 and they had an interesting idea of a random drawing. One thousand balls numbered 000 to 999 were poured into the tumbler by Jackie Urbanek of Parma Heights, Miss Ohio World 1974, the newspaper reported. The tumbler was spun end over end, and when it stopped turning 10 numbered balls fell into place. Three envelopes drawn from a drum containing the results of 30 horse races determined the winning chambers on the tumbler. Can't imag

Is the lottery rigged?
Of course they're rigged, and not because I've not won a MM, PB jackpot, but because the Data shows MANIPULATION..consecutive number's flip-Flop Odds showing up in the Data of the Game I was currently Stalkin , ONLY AFTER I mentioned here on LP how Probability Math was able to differentiate between the two, if indeed either one was viable..Game Averages spiking huge differences in game results where the results were rigged in order to keep from paying a Jackpot.. and on and on , and so forth..

Every time buy Lotto Max ticket for any draw there are so so many numbers in common. Bought ticket for 7 draws and there are same numbers on each of the 3 lines. My poor clerk is starting to catch my concern as say I'd like to keep supporting them yet if get ticket online can cancel after one draw. I just looked at tonight's ticket bought for 7 draws. . 3, 16, 20, 29, 30, 34, 48 ar

Still say it is tampered lottery system!
Here we go again,3002 came on the night number last night!!2020 is played by a lot of people Yep, 3002 was one digit off for box bets, but only had one digit in the correct digit position for straight bets. The way it works is when you have no digit 3 on any of your tickets and 3 is the first digit drawn, you can't win and making the other three digits meaningless. Bottom line,Ga. Lottery is Rigged!! Anybody can go to a court, legislators, or to the voters and say the lottery is rig

Identical winning numbers crop up in hundreds of U.S. lotteries. Are the drawings really random?
I agree and I will also add that they have money numbers which fall when they need to pay out other bills. NC residents believe its rigged pick 4 especially since we've had an unusually low amount of quads since 2006 compared to other states. Quads here are blocked yet in 2011 we got 4 out of the 8 that has fallen ......I do think the new director Mark is trying but he should step up before we lose interest in our states lottery altogether. Rigged yes... to their advantage of course you just hav
