The California winner who claimed half of a $395 million Mega Millions jackpot sued the California Lottery for the other share of the prize, alleging that he is entitled to the second half.
On Friday, Faramarz Lahijani filed a lawsuit against the California Lottery for the other half of the $395 million Mega Millions jackpot, which expired over the weekend.

UK Lottery refuses to pay out £4 million win on suspicions ticket was bought with stolen bank card
UK Lottery officials have refused to pay out a 4 million (US$5.2 million) jackpot to two players who they suspect had purchased the winning ticket with a stolen debit card.

The Florida Lottery, suspecting fraud, has suspended sales at 11 more stores, bringing the total to 14 since a Palm Beach Post investigation revealed startling patterns of winners.
