I can believe it. The nation's attention this week has been elsewhere, namely Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Lack of attention means ticket sales were probably what you'd expect for smaller jackpots. Now that the kickoff to the holiday season is out of the way, the news media should have the time to crank up the hype machine leading up to Wednesday night, especially now that we're in record-setting territory.

Thanks. I was debating going to the same machine and skipping the ticket I hit $100 on and doing the same challenge. I figured outside of that I only hit $63 out of $178(losing on 4 out of 5 $20 tickets). If you have self service ones that allow you to cash tickets at the machine, i would skip those. too easy to hawk those. Maybe I will do the challenge at the grocery store on the way home tomorrow.

Walked by a machine today and had an extra dollar in my pocket. So I bought the new dollar ticket (which usally I never do cause I feel the dollar tickets are wothless) but I won $5. Cashed it in and took the gain lol. And yes they do seem like repeats of all the other games.

Had a lucky day today. Was going to buy only jubilee but saw a few discarded LFL and decided to get 2 jubilees and 1 LFL from the machine - hit for $100 on LFL (#031 STAR) - $100 on the first jubilee # 020 10X $10 and $50 on the second 028. Im going to take a break and not buy any until next week when the new $25 ticket hits stores. I even calculated im up over $2K since hitting $1K on jubilee. its been pretty good overal since then.

This incident happen to my husband about 6 mths ago he scan on the machine and said he was not a winner , so he gave it to the clerk to check and the same ticket he had won about $5.50 . From that time to now he never trust the scanner machine. So I imagine lots of people have gotten false information since then.

The scanners here are the same way. I think it has to do with the actual speed that the ticket is inserted under the scanner. I have scanned my tickets myself and I always do it twice. Sometimes, it takes the scanner a couple of seconds to clear the previous barcode out of it's memory. Sometimes, I get a can not read error and when I get this, I stop and let the machine reset itself.

Place next to my work. He has 2-30X bins. then he has 8-12 under the counter that you can look down through the glass and now just got a machine installed for another 20+. His ticket sales are through the roof and constantly refilling tickets. I can go over in the morning and by the afternoon sometimes his 20's are wiped.

I was at the grocery store and I couldn't resist the lotto machine. I bought $5 Monopoly and had to play 5 to win $5. Against my better judgement I bought a $20 Million Dollar Match ticket and it was #3 and it lost. I bought the last 2 and they both lost so I lost a quick $80. Pretty bad result I think I should try to quit playing altogether.

Dont despair. I once saw my friend, play consecutive numbers in a keno machine and hit 5/6 and thousands in jackpot. It has the same odds as any other ticket.

Hi all, I called Illinois lottery yestrday and easymatch will not be availible to play till 5/13 been tryin to play it myself retailer knew nothing so I called this is what they told me, play slips are out, if you dont have a play slip filled out you can give them your old ticket and have them Play it again, because the machine doesnt reconize the old play slips....
