Many do this but not with Mega Millions or Power Ball. Mostly Cash 5 or Daily Numbers draws. You buy 2 or 3 lines for 3 days in advance. On the 3rd day you buy it again thus creating an overlap for that third day so if you happen to hit it then you win double the prize.

ok y'all I play 4 digits more than 3 but I'm feeling 3 digits more today than normal so Imma check out 88x the whole line....also the mega millions I think is at 288,000 so I ran with that in the 3 digit...also like 257 and 678 even though I forgot to play those two numbers... those of us who don't live in arizona might need clarification about what 'fast play' is. is it a standalone game, an add on game, a synonym for quick pick? why are they limiting fast play bulk purchases but not other kinds of bulk purchases? what's special about bulk buying fast play compared to bulk buying mega millions or powerball?

The pool I am in is still waiting for the jackpot to get a bit bigger before we buy tickets. According to the schedule, it may be next week. Will have to wait much longer before we play the Mega Millions games.

The Mega Millions jackpot increased by the minimum $10 million to $70 million. It is estimated the current jackpot is under funded from sales by about $30.7 million. The last time the jackpot was $70 million, it was under funded by $29 million. That shows the jackpot is growing slower than the last run. This is probably influenced by the much larger $190 million Powerball jackpot

Not true. Mega Millions is growing marginally faster than Powerball. In fact, it is growing faster by only $1 million.

What's the significance in that 1 million? Mega millions is growing by double the amount of PB each draw. My assumption is the reason for that is the difference between the two jackpot amounts.
