the reason the guy threw the ticket out was because he thought it was for the previous drawing... imagine matching all five numbers for the previous drawing, thus making the ticket worthless!

How do you get a spreadsheet to show something that can't be seen any other way with a computer when the spreadsheet is produced by a computer? I've identified 145 number distribution patterns in the last 617 MegaMillions drawings since its last matrix change and found half of the drawings fall within 36 of them. It takes the Kentucky site about a half hour after the drawing to give the results. I'm assuming it's because they give how much was paid out and how many winners there were in each game. Personally I'd like to know just what numbers were drawn five minutes after the drawing.

Pumpi should predict one pick-4 number straight in every daily drawing just to see his chances of hitting one number straight before suggesting we bet $5 on every winning number in every pick-4 drawing. Wrong Draw Numbers from the Cal Lottery Email
If you've signed up for email alerts for winning numbers that are sent the following morning after a drawing, be sure to check the date of the drawing on the email. This morning I recieved my winning number email for Mega Millions which had last Tuesday's 5/3 winning numbers instead of Friday's 5/6 numbers. This has happened before that I've noticed...last time it was for Super Lotto. The best way is to just check the winning numbers on their website.

Hey there Bob...to reply to your statement...generally I NEVER set myself up for disappointment. As matter of fact, I generally always try not to look at newly posted pick 3 no.'s with any type of mind-set that my pick's are gonna be the winners. Ironically, after playing my choice #'s for weeks, I picked entirely new set of #'s by just looking out the store front window @ 2 license plates....I won the mid-day drawing AND the eve drawing...just goes to show It's all RANDOM chance!

Actually I run a series of similar displays on all the games I play to see how far back all the numbers in the matrix have hit at least once. This display was for the 59 PB drawings before the 4/20/11 drawing which can be helpful for setting parameters when comparing what happened in previous drawing when the spreads of the 59 numbers were over the same amounts of drawings.
