Increasing the chances
I read about a month ago a article on the megamillion's website about how many tickets you would need to buy to have any chance at winning the lottery it was something like 2 million tickets you have to get.they siad whether you buy one ticket or three hundred tickets your chances are still the same and they don,t increase at all. this is why i stick to only buying 5 tickets. i was in the store down the street from me two months ago and there was this guy in front of me who spent $650.00 on the

So now Monday when the guy at work goes and gets more for Tuesday night's drawing, we will not have to pay again. Just use last nights winnings.I was thinking even with a $165 pool you would need a better plan than buying easy picks to break even most of the time, maybe you guys have just been lucky. Before I retired I was in sever

Vent your displeasure - CANADIAN 649
Shlep,I do not want to discourage your campaign to complain about the new price, but I think that the only thing the lottery corporations will pay attention to is sales. If sales go down, then they will get rid of or change the $2 ticket price. If sales go up or stay level, then nothing will change. Sales speak louder than complaints. This is why the original 649 game was changed. Sales were going down year after year. They had to do something. One option was to reduce the guaranteed minimum jac

Texas Lotto Jumps to $100 Million
Texans will have a chance for a record jackpot of an estimated $100 million on Saturday after there were no winners last night in the Lotto Texas drawing.Wednesday's jackpot totaled $87 million, topping the record $85 million set in 2001. The jackpot, which hasn't been hit since February, is now the highest jackpot in the country, even outpacing the multistate game Mega Millions, which has an estimated $85 million jackpot after no one won Tuesday's drawing. But hold on to those letters of resigna

How to Win Mass. Numbers Game?
Todd, for the exact (1) digit, it has to match in the exact position. It would be too easy to win if it were 1 exact in any position. There is no such thing as 1 digit any in the game. Also, the payouts in the Daily Numbers Game (being the pick 4, pick 3 midday and pick 3 eve all in one) are all pari-mutuel. Massachusetts condensed the pick three's and four game all together. I think it's easier to track than having three different game. Average payout for exact one digit is $5. Good nights the

Mathematical Sequences
Quote: Originally posted by ayenowitall on May 07, 2004I've been working on developing a Fibonacci inspired mathematical sequence as a tool for predicting lottery draws. I've read at least one source that claims this won't work because lottery draws are not naturally occurring phenomena. I happen to think that we and all we do are products of nature, so I'm convinced that a mathematical sequence can be a useful predictor.A couple of nights ago I managed to stumble onto creating a sequence that s
