Playing the Extra Dollar on the Jackpot Games
I don't bother with the bonus play anymore. It's about baby steps. I figure i should win a sizable amount first like 2nd or 3rd prize before i start spending that extra dollar which could be spent on next drawing. And I only spend a dollar a drawing and only when jackpot's over 100. Remember it's a dollar and a dream. Good Luck!

Three 2nd Prize winners on 1 ticket in NY for last MegaMillions drawing (2/22/11)?!
First thing, hi this is my first post, and I hope I'm posting this in the right sub-forum, and that this is worthy of a new thread, etc. Anyway, there were three 2nd prize ($250,000) winners in NY in the last MegaMillions drawing (2/22/11). I checked the New York Lottery's information to see where these three winners were bought and was amazed to see that ALL THREE were bought in the same store. This makes me think that someone picked the numbers themselves and had 3 sets of winners on one ti

Number selection method for Pick5 / Pick 6 lotteries
Hi everyone Here s a system I ve been thinkingabout for number selection in Pick 5 or Pick 6 lotteries. As an example, I willuse the results for Euro Millions (5/50), main numbers, without taking intoaccount the stars. The method uses the 20 last draws results. I ve studied the resultsand noticed that in a 5/50 lottery, on average: - there are 13 of the last 20results with 0 winning numbers from the next drawing (in 17% of the drawings) - there are 12 of the last 20results with 0 w

Poaching for winning tickets
I think a few states have this already...Colorado has it as well, they call it 'second chance drawing', and it's usually for the grand prize that was offered in the scratch-offs. If you mail in your ticket or enter the ticket # online, they'll do a drawing after they've pulled the tickets. I've heard that you've got pretty good odds of winning because not everyone enters. At least the losing tix have a chance at winning something.

MADDOG'S Powerball Challenges (Discussion)
It really makes no difference when you consider the logistics of playing 3168 personal picks. Having a different set of 3168 combinations for each drawing would mean filling out 634 new play slips for every drawing which if one ever had the time to do it once would probably never do it again.

Money, Money, Money and no Honey
Before I buy any scratch cards, I check with the state lottery site to see how many of the top prizes are left for that particular game. If one or all the jackpot prizes have been won, then your chances of winning are zero and I won't even buy the card. I'll only play a scratch card if 50% or more of the top prizes remain in a drawing. Colorado also has a 'second chance' drawing which is usually equal to the top prize in the scratch cards. You can enter your losing cards in to a drawing set b
